My experience with Christina O’Toole at Avenue Two Travel was beyond amazing. Every detail of our trip to Paris was planned to perfection. From our own private drivers, private tour guides, fabulous boutique hotel next to Coco Chanel’s apartment, airport greeters to suggestions on special tours and restaurants, she assisted us every step of the way. We saw Paris and all its beauty without concerns of lines, worries or any issues. From the Seine private boat to VIP at the Moulin Rouge, from Versailles to Giverny, Christina O’Toole made the trip one we will never forget. My only concern is that I want to return! My next adventure will definitely be with Avenue Two.. place.. TBD!

full disclosure, I never actually used them. Or should I say they didn't want me. Because I was unfamiliar with the company and unaccustomed to paying for a travel agent's fees, I inquired about the cost. My husband and I had already booked a trip to Anguilla and St. Barths, but were looking for some validation and concierge service ( which is exactly what they call it on their website). It was clearly a concern that I was inquiring about cost, because Erin Wurzel the travel coordinator responded that the advisors were "reticence about working with someone unaccustomed to paying for planning fees". I still have no idea the kinds of fees they charge, but they must be outrageous, and I guess they only want clients in the 0.5%.

We used them for a recent trip to Scotland in December. They were able to get our needs for the trip together and put together a great itinerary and list of activities to do. It wasn't too strict and allowed plenty of room to explore. We flew into Edinburgh and stayed a couple nights before taking a two-day tour of the Highlands. Edinburgh was absolutely incredible. We went on several tours, including of the main castle. My favorite part in the city was a private whisky tour through Edinburgh with just my girlfriend and I. The guide was very knowledgeable, fun, and felt like a friend at the end. The Highlands were absolutely breathtaking and was my favorite part of the whole trip. Would 100% recommend using Avenue Two again.

Some travel advisors are satisfied with just making your reservations. Marcie Kotler, however, has proven to be an integral part of our travel experience from beginning to end. Her attention to detail is exceptional. She remembers our likes and dislikes and our preferences when helping to book our trips. No request for more information is too much and her advice is always on target. Marcie is always available to us even when she herself is traveling. As experienced travelers our expectations are high and she always exceeds them. You can feel safe and secure wherever you are in the world when you are in Marcie’s capable hands.

I have used Debbie Bush of Avenue Two Travel and I highly recommend her and her team. She is a knowledgeable travel professional that leaves nothing to doubt. For instance, on our African Safari trip she thoughtfully planned for us to "de-jetlag' in beautiful Cape Town. We have used her for trips to The Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Italy, Zambia, and South Africa and every destination was thoroughly considered including all aspects of transportation and hotel stays.
