We stayed in the Provence suite at the Inn. It was a very comfortable room. There was a lovely gas fireplace and also a spacious bathroom. The king size bed was also very comfortable.

Sherri prepared a delicious breakfast for us each morning. She was very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. We would definitely come back again!

What a find! Gary and Nicole are superstar hosts and all around nice people. The property is absolutely lovely. We stayed with our dog in The Barn - The Shakespeare Suite - and it was beautifully appointed, the bed was so comfortable and the fireplace just added the perfect touch to our long weekend in the snow. The bar - fun place to hang out or take your drinks into the living room area. We even purchased wine to take back to our suite. Superbowl Sunday Gary and Nicole prepared a cheese and cracker/veggie dip platter and we watched the first half in the living room with another family. Breakfast = awesome. Brutus the English Bulldog = will be your best friend 4-ever if you give him a generous rubdown. We are already talking about another trip next November. We miss it already - when we left it was like saying goodbye to an old friend. See you in a few months Gary and Nicole!

The Inn at Stockbridge was a wonderful long-weekend getaway! The room was so spacious with views of the snow falling outside and a lovely fireplace, which kept us so warm. The spa tub was a welcome addition; and the breakfast every day was delicious - French toast, eggs Benedict, and anything you could possibly hope for - delicious coffee and wonderful service! The cheese and wine in the late afternoon was also a treat. Be sure to check out the Norman Rockwell museum, which is conveniently close by! We will definitely return!

I stayed at the Inn for 3 nights, 3 very restful nights. The Inn is about 2 miles from the center of Stockbridge. Left and right from the Inn are the beautiful surroundings of the Berkshires. I stayed in the Shakespeare room, decorated with hints of the Bard. It was exceptionally comfortable, whether reading, writing, or simply sitting. Even though the Inn is near to Route 7, while one hears road noise during the day, the nights are quiet. The breakfasts were prepared well and filling. (I recommend adding PG Tips, Barry's, and/orTyphoo to the tea collection.) The star of the breakfast seating is Brutus. I highly recommend this Inn, for one night, yes, but especially if you have some time to spend in this wonderful part of New England.

We chose the Inn at Stockbridge for our elopement in February and I can't recommend it enough. The main reason we chose here was the decor on the inside for our photos (like adorable dog face wallpaper in the main house!), but working with Nicole to get everything set up was a wonderful experience. One of the benefits for off season was the main house doesn't get a lot of visitors so having our ceremony during the day was a breeze.
She helped make it an amazing day! We stayed in the Wharton suite which has a little deck, deep jacuzzi tub, & a king size bed. Their breakfasts were a real treat, with eggs offered every day but they have a breakfast special for each day, sometimes even a sweet treat they made! For lunch or dinner options, there are so many great places just 7 minutes away on the main street of Stockbridge, just refer to the binder they leave in the room with food suggestions! This place has a special place in our hearts now so we can't wait to come back, in spring ideally to have the full Berkshires experience.

5 stars isn’t enough stars for this place.|It’s very rare to find a place with a 5.0 rating. This place exceeds that with flying colors.|After a 4-hour bus ride, my partner and I (and my cane and spasmodic back) were excepting to be able to uber 10 minutes from the drop-off to the inn….this wouldn’t have happened lest we paid $60 for an uber (there weren’t even any cab companies in the area)….the innkeepers husband, halo a-glowing, showed up in his chariot and brought us to the inn, in all its grand Victorian home, heartwarming holiday light display, and up to our beautiful room (Greek Isles). We dropped our things off and were invited to a complimentary wine, cheese, and comedy night in the main house…having not eaten anything in hours, we were famished. We were provided some of the most delicious, creative pizza while enjoying an open-mic comedy night.|The main house itself is amazing beyond words, with all the comforts of home, and then some (or a lot). This house is a grand Victorian, and one wonders how it was in yesteryear, but every room is amazingly decorated, with wallpaper of dogs, a fireplace, record player…the breakfast room has a 24-hr coffee and soda area, and in all, it’s just so cozy…like the house in all its grandeur is hugging you. |One selling point was that this inn has a resident bulldog. At time of print, this review is being overseen by a small stuffed animal version of the host hound, as the real one has yet to be seen.|Once we retired to our room, as tired as we were, we took a soak in the lovely jacuzzi, and then flipped on one of most comfortable beds we’ve experienced in a long time. (Remember- one of us is injured and using a cane, so comfort is paramount!) |Next morning, we go to the main house to experience the highly-acclaimed gourmet breakfasts mentioned in so many other reviews. ….did.not.disappoint. Gary, one of the innkeepers, went around welcoming every guest as they arrived in the warm, cozy breakfast room, and asked how they were enjoying their stay…this indicates the hosts truly care and are not just doing ā€œtable touches.ā€ Breakfast for morning #1 was homemade stuffed brioche/challah with Apple compote, thick cut and incredibly delicious bacon, and a fruit parfait….incredible!||Gary told us that the inconvenience experienced involving the surprising scarcity of, and inexplicable cost for, Ubers around this area, is standard, and highly recommended we get a car….worth.every.penny|The only problem: we don’t want to leave the inn grounds as they are so charming and beautiful even in the winter, with a frost-covered lawn and herb garden and outdoor pool:…all of this only added to the Norman-Rockwell-esque rural landscapes in the area (note: Norman Rockwells home is less than 10 minutes from the inn). |They may not have had a comedy show the second night, but we were cordially invited to another wine-and-cheese hour where we mingled with other inn guests, who were just as relaxed and happy as we were….just something about the true warmth of every part of this inn.||We are about to enjoy our last breakfast (but only until our next visit!) and then bid a tearful adieu to this lovely escape-from-reality paradise.||We may not always have Paris, but we’ll always have the Greek Isles (and a mini-Brutus).||Thank you for a wonderful, wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at The Inn at Stockbridge! Before we even arrived, I received multiple texts and emails confirming our stay, providing check in and stay details, and asking for any preferences. This was actually a relief because a few months ago we arrived to a hotel in Florida that lost our reservation and had no vacancies so to feel like we were being taken care of before even arriving was very much appreciated. We found the inn to be straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie, with festive decor, clean rooms complete with cozy fireplace and very comfortable bedding. The inn was quiet and peaceful and a true escape, but, what truly set our stay over the top was Sheri. Sheri's hospitality went above and beyond. We had 2 delicious gourmet breakfasts here, one of which was brought to our room. We added on the fondue package and enjoyed cozying up in the room with the wine and cheese and fixings from the spread so much that we cancelled our dinner reservations and spent the night enjoying the room. We were also super excited to meet the mascot doggy, Brutus! We highly recommend The Inn at Stockbridge for your stay!

We found the need to get off the roads during a snowstorm traveling back home on i90 and were so fortunate to find this place. The first very helpful and kind conversation when calling and reserving a room had me immediately hooked on the place. Then they called me back with more helpful information in addition to the clear directions via email. Once we arrived there was a clear, recently shoveled path directly to our incredible, clean, spacious, homey room. Bed was very comfy and the breakfast was amazing. We will plan a summer trip for Berkshires fun (Tanglewood, museums, hiking, etc.)!
