Fun hike with a great view at the top of Laura’s Tower! Paths were well marked and the route was relatively easy even with snow. People were even leaving hiking sticks near the entrance. Cool bridge as well! I definitely recommend regardless of the weather.

We went on a nice winter evening but there weren't many people. The park trail starts with the stone arch and bridge.
Crossing the bridge looked more scary with melted ice running underneath so we didn't continue walking further.
You need to be sure about the sun and safety while getting here.

This was my first visit to Laura's Tower. There are two trails, one that loops around next to the river and the second that leads to a steel staircase which gives an amazing view of the surrounding area. The loop is flat and easily accessible and the trail to the tower is more of a moderate climb with some rocky terrain. Worth it when you reach the top. No facilities.
Pro: dogs on leash allowed. Con: very limited parking.

Goodrich Memorial Park is just lovely! The hike to Laurel Hill on the park demands a pinch of effort so to reach Laurel Hill Tower. Once atop the tower, (steep stairs which are extremely slick in winter WATCH OUT!!) one can see the mountain ranges that form the geography of this lovely berkshire area. On the tower exists a metal plated disk which with careful eye reveals the names, distance, height and directions of said mountains; if you can see past the bits of vandalism that mar it's surface. Beyond Laurel Hill rests the Ice Glenn, a gorgeous tangle of boulders and deep cave like crevices. One could hike the hole place in a snow storm in just a few hours or less.
