What a beautiful place to take your family and spend some quality time in nature. There are numerous campgrounds, most with restrooms. Some of the campgrounds have running water and hot showers. However, I like the dry camping. You can easily find a place by yourself and may not see another person for several days. Get out there. Life is short.

The little spot I stayed at was absolutely amazing, stunningly beautiful, and so quiet. I could hear the coyotes all over the meadow. The stars were just off the charts beautiful with no artificial light to mess it up. I highly recommend the little free spots. Great for peace and relaxation.

We went hiking on the East Baldy Trail, #95. Nice, easy and pleasant trail. You have full-looking blue spruce trees to gaze at. Aspens are gorgeous in the fall as they display their golden colors. A pretty meadow as you are walk plus a creek. A great way to get out of the city and breathe in the nature in the Mt. Baldy wilderness.

Photo was taken while taking an informative hike from nature center. Very informative on edible vegetation. Had to stray from group towards the end because of pain in back from standing in one spot while leader was giving explanations. When usually going for walks I only stop long enough to get a drink and keep moving. Need to find a group that just hikes for a few hours. There were several trails to go off on your own which is where I probably should have gone in the first place. Several people brought children and listened to information on different kinds of edible mushrooms but then took off on other trails.

Lovely! Although I wish people would pick up their trash! It's a bit ruined by all the toilet paper, cigarette butts, bottle tops etc. Come on people clean up! Some absolutely stunning views. Hiked See canyon... Gorgeous!

great place to camp, camp hosts are helpful and they keep the place clean and well maintained.
IMO the state of Arizona should rethink their policy of 14 day limit when the campground sits nearly empty because of it. Prior to enforcing the limit almost 1/3 of sites were used.

Awesome place. Fishing spots were busy. Apparently a lot of catches during the week. Lots of beautiful hiking trails. Saw a small herd of Deer playing with each other. The biggest wishing willows I've ever seen!
