Seriously, stop what you are doing and hire Alexis and Kayla from The Little Things. There is no one better.

I cannot imagine our wedding day or the entire planning process without them. In summary, they are consummate professionals who are excellent at what they do, but they do it with such love and care it is truly a pleasure to get to know and spend time with them. But there is so much to say!!

First off, they have amazing experience and know what to watch out for, what vendors are worth it, how to prioritize your budget and so many other things we would have had no clue about. We never worried during the planning process because we knew Alexis and Kayla would help us through any decision. They have killer instincts as well, and just know what works and what doesn't. Every vendor they recommended was 10/10 and we trusted them so much whenever we were unsure, we'd default to what they thought - we even used the band Alexis used at her own wedding!

Next, they have incredible style. I had a vague sense of what I wanted my wedding to look and feel like, but Alexis and Kayla truly brought it to life in a way that was so far beyond my wildest dreams. They provided us with options that would fit, so we knew we would never be too far off base style -wise. Our wedding would not have been as beautiful or cohesive without them. Design isn't something I originally thought a lot about, but it manifested in setting the mood for our perfect wedding day, and I ended up loving the process and our final look. They engage heavily in the design process while still giving lots of freedom to their couples.

In addition, they had the best attitude and demeanor, both throughout the wedding planning process as well as on the wedding day. Each of our family and friends commented on how lovely of a presence they were on wedding day, which we already knew from the planning process, but it was so nice to hear from truly everyone. They strike the perfect balance of guidance while also being completely open to new ideas and our preferences. Plus they are both so kind and just great people. They care so much about their couples and it comes across in every aspect.

In addition, their execution and project management skills are second to none. They would remember each thing we covered during a meeting and follow up on it. The wedding day itself ran exceptionally smoothly and they were there, carefully ushering each piece into place and ensuring everything was perfect. There were so many little details they took care of without us even noticing at the time (like placing the bars for cocktail hour in a different space to allow for better crowd flow) - this allowed us to be so present on our actual wedding day, knowing we were in the best hands!

Finally, we cared a lot about what our wedding would feel like, and that is the language they speak as well. From each stage of selecting vendors, to the design plan, to choosing detail décor to selecting songs, to setting the order of events, they made sure our core values were being upheld and were always in service of that ultimate goal.

I am not sure if I am doing an adequate job of conveying how truly amazing Alexis and Kayla are. They are the best best in the business. I almost don't want to tell anyone how amazing they are so I can refer them to my own friends and family, but of course I won't because they deserve all the success and praise in the world!! There were so many time when my (now) husband and I would turn to look at each other throughout the wedding planning process and said "thank God for Alexis and Kayla."

I cannot say enough amazing things about these two and the only thing I will miss about wedding planning is the chance to hang out and collaborate with Alexis and Kayla. Even writing this is making me miss them!

Alexis delivered on our dream wedding weekend, and in fact, over-delivered as the weekend was even better than we imagined. We were married July 15, 2017 at Samoset Resort in Rockland, Maine. Our weekend consisted of four events. We started Thursday night with rehearsal dinner off-site at Pig & Poet, had a lobster bake Friday night for all the wedding guests, with an outdoor ceremony and reception under a tent on Saturday followed by a send-off Sunday morning brunch.

We selected Alexis because of her warm and calm demeanor – something we knew would be important through the inevitable stresses of the planning process as well as during the wedding weekend. Through the planning process, Alexis consistently demonstrated her ability to listen to our thoughts, ideas, and desires then translate them into a beautiful vision and plan. Her impressive creativity is key in this phase. Add to that, her attention to detail took an immense amount of pressure off us during the planning. We were completely confident in her management of vendor options, vendor communication, etc. Come the wedding weekend, Alexis and her team executed a flawless set of four events.

Beyond delivering an amazing wedding weekend, Alexis is simply a wonderful human. We always looked forward to our monthly planning meetings purely because Alexis is a delight to be with and she made the entire wedding planning process fun.

We would recommend Alexis in a heartbeat to anyone considering a wedding planner – she is the best!

I actually laugh out loud when I recall how I first thought I didn't need a wedding planner. I figured I had plenty of ideas, a good sense of design, and thought I could manage my time well enough to get things done when things needed to be done. Looking back now, I can't imagine this past year without Alexis and her team at the Little Things.

Alexis is cool, calm, and collected. She has an incredible eye and seemingly limitless patience. She gave me the space to design specific elements of our wedding while providing her expertise at every turn. Her high standards have helped her build a network of vendors who truly bring their A-game. My fiancé and I definitely put The Little Things through the ringer with our out-of-the-box interactive displays and AV set up. Alexis took it all in stride, remaining positive, managing our expectations, and meeting every challenge presented and exceeding expectations throughout.

If you view wedding planners as a "nice to have," and not a "necessity," I would change your thinking. There are SO many things that can come up, and they would have easily derailed us many times in our planning if it were not for Alexis who acts as part wedding planner, part therapist throughout the process! ha!

When you look back at your wedding, if you're like us, you will constantly be bringing up amazing memories, and you will find yourself saying "Imagine we didn't have Alexis."

I literally couldn't say enough about how awesome The Little Things team were for our recent wedding. Kayla was absolutely incredible to work with. We have them do day of coordination as well as our event design. TLT was able to take what our general and vague ideas were and articulate them in a tangible way for it to become a reality. Kayla was really able to take key aspects of our personalities and relationship and translate them perfect with amazing touches like our pet on napkins and cufflinks to an amazing tablescape multiple guests have asked me for pictures of so they can try and recreate for their homes. Couldn't have been any more put together and organized, Kayla really kept us on-track and thought through everything we never considered. The on-site team day-of was awesome and well-prepared. I'll reccomend Kayla and TLT to anyone that needs assistance in wedding planning/day of coordination in heartbeat!

Alexis & Kayla were by far the most important and most valuable decision we made for our wedding. After following TLT on IG for some time, I knew I liked their high-end, laidback vibe, and from our first conversation we were bowled over by how those traits translated to the people behind the scenes. From early days with thoughtful questionnaires into every aspect of our identity, Alexis and Kayla began the journey of getting to know us better than we knew ourselves, and helped us establish a mood, a design aesthetic, and a way of working together that made the year of planning our wedding a true joy.

What you can expect from working with TLT: monthly meetings where you will laugh until you cry, a meticulously organized online checklist of to-dos with assigned owners and gentle and timely reminders, to be presented with teams of vendors who match your vibe and price point (you can always suggest your own vendors and TLT will vet them too), never having to send a single email to a vendor (!!!!), a sense of comfort knowing that everything is IS THE BAG, and in the critical days leading up to the big day and including the big day itself - being able to be present and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.

Alexis and Kayla helped us author our first big creative project together as a couple and will be lifelong friends. They assembled a squad of the COOLEST, most hardworking vendors we could imagine, and we will be forever grateful.
