The Heart of Somerset was amazing and more! We enjoyed time in the pool, hot tub, and sauna. The home was spacious and perfect for a family getaway. Everything was extremely clean and well kept.

Gary was an amazing host! He made sure the kayaks were ready for us to use and added thoughtful personal touches to our trip. It truly made our vacation special and I can’t thank him enough for that. He also recommended a private chef in the area and the food and chef were wonderful!

The location was great with a grocery store not too far away and Newport within driving distance. We were able to spend a day there and then head back to Somerset to cozy and relaxing night.

We had a great weekend stay at Gary's house in Somerset. The house is well-appointed and comfortable. The showers were lovely and the beds were comfortable. There were so many "extras" I appreciated, like a white noise machine in my bedroom! There was so much attention to detail. Gary was a fantastic host. He provides you a ton of helpful information about the house and the area in a notebook. The views are magnificent and it was a very relaxing stay. It is a great location if you want to explore the area, or just stay in and use the hot tub or sauna. We really enjoyed the views, comfort and Gary's kindness. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property with amazing vibes. The wrapped porch looking out on the water was a perfect place to relax with a great view. The hot tub was a wonderful way to end each night. The pool was refreshing and exceptionally clean. Gary was very accommodating and responsive and the Heart of Somerset was stocked with all the things you want on vacation. A super clean and comfy space overall. Make sure you ask about booking with private chef Sydney! Don’t miss out on this gem for your next getaway. Our family will be back for sure!

Gary is the consummate AirBnB host! He has staged this home with everything you might desire , before you know you want it! The house is immaculate and fully appointed. There is the Sauna, fire pit, hot tub, luxurious showers, and clean comfortable beds for everyone, little ones included! Everything is in tip top condition & Gary is very responsive and supportive for all his guests. Highly recommend!!

Our stay at the heart of somerset was absolutely flawless. 8 of us fit comfortably in the home and we spent most of our 5 day trip just enjoying the amenities! You are truly living the good life with the wrap around porch, post card views, sea breeze, new pool, luxurious hot tub, glass jetted showers, and very well equipped kitchen! The cherry on top was the personal touches provided by Gary. He checked in frequently, left us a thoughtful gift representative of the pebble beach, and even met us with 20 minutes notice to unlock the kayaks (don’t skip a nice paddle)! If you are looking for a great dinner, allow him to connect you with the amazing chef Sydney for a great personalized evening. 10/10 will return again!

Gary was a wonderful host for our vacation. He was very responsive and helpful for all of our questions. The house was extremely clean, peaceful and well equipped in the kitchen and for all things relaxation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a house on the water!

The most incredible view from this house, especially the sunsets. The house does match the views and my stay there was excellent. There was even a recommendation for a private chef and she was the icing on the cake for what was a great stay.

What a fantastic home! The Heart of Somerset is a beautiful home with a gorgeous backdrop. The setting was stunning and the house was spotless! Gary went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely love to go back! It was a perfect home for 8 people.
