my experience was good. I went there for skiing. A little busy and messy. I think they need more lockers . Generally speaking, the organization could be improved during the weekends. I would visit it again👍
transportation is very convenient. Easy to access by public transportation from Boston, and the restaurant is good. We ordered black diamond hamburgers and the chicken sandwich 👍👍
In general, service was good too.

I visited Mt. Wachusett last year during the early season when snow conditions were off to a weak start, but I was blown away by how quickly things turned around for an amazing second run the following weekend. This year, the 2024 season has already started on an even stronger note. Opening weekend was incredible—better than last year by far!

The team here clearly works hard to maintain excellent conditions, and it shows. The runs were smooth, the atmosphere was great, and it’s the perfect place to kick off another exciting season. I’m thrilled to see what the rest of the season brings and can’t wait to keep riding at Wachusett. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic local mountain experience!

It’s was amazing, once in a lifetime experience for me. It was my first time skiing and I took the beginners lesson, it was worth it, our instructor Jim explained everything in detail and was very patient with a rookie like me. I fell many times but still got up and keep trying by the end of the lesson, I was decent in turning and moving in balance. There’s a lodge, food court and huge parking.

I can see the potential of this mountain. It had longer runs than some of the places ive been around in ME & NH. However the day that I went, all the slopes were basically just ice. In fact one of the slopes got closed bc it was so icy and many people were falling. Id love to ski it if it wasnt just a big sheet of ice. Ill have to come back again. Very convenient at least from Boston.

The lodge was big and massive with plenty of places to get food & drinks. Also has a nice ski & snowboard store 🙂

Had a great time there’s two peaks the taller of which is 2000 feet. There’s around 4 major trail groupings. The trails aren’t particularly difficult, but they aren’t exactly easy either. A very good intermediate destination. They make their snow primarily. The mountain is privately owned and not owned by a larger conglomerate.
The main appeal to this place for me is its proximity to the urban concentrations on the coast

I liked this Ski Area! For context I don't like to ski I went there because my brother wanted to ski. It wasn't confusing to find the parking lot and the parking was free. The Lodge Cabin area had free Internet so I wasn't bored out of my mind and there were some fun hiking trails that I do enjoy. Worth the near 2 hour drive up there 😁

Pics are a mix from last Friday's perfect full coverage, and yesterday's (this Friday) half coverage. Early conditions are surprisingly good - very little ice and some great man-made snow after 2 days of rain.

Staff is friendly and go out of their way to help you.

I got a season pass for the 1st time in my life, at 40+ yrs old, and I can already tell it's worth it!!!

Demo shop at Mountainside Ski shop is excellent too... i just got a great deal on last year's Gnu model & it rides great & I never would have tried it, except Dominic made a great recommendation, and Andy & Becky made the whole experience fun.

Truly IS mountains of skiing minutes away.

Ok... maybe an hr away? And sooo much easier than 3-6 hrs away for the BIGGEST mountains in VT/NH/CA... if you like your fun outdoor activities to be welcoming and special every time....come here.
