Thatch Quarters on Dorchester Street effectively communicate the expectations of the room and living space. The room fit the website description and access was simple and straightforward. I experienced inclement weather for almost the entire duration of the stay, and thankfully, the room temperature was welcoming. There are a variety of coffee shops, restaurants, and bars on Broadway Street, and the Broadway Convention and Exhibition Center is in walking distance. Thank you!

The room was clean. The bathroom was clean, too. We had a room on the second floor on the front side of the building. The view from the room was a lot of fun, but the Friday night scene at the bar across the street is very loud. Might be a good idea to provide an air conditioning unit in the window so that there would be some sort of noise cancellation. I had to find a box fan video on YouTube - I blasted it next to my ear, to try to drown out the music and shouting from the night life. The place is an easy walk from the Broadway T station. There are a lot of great coffeeshops and restaurants along that walk. Overall, I do recommend this place, but you have to be prepared to deal with the noise from 11 PM to 2 AM. I’d stay again.

We spent two nights at Tatch, the best point is definitely the price, it’s really good and you have a bedroom for you. It was clean and the bed was comfy, the bathrooms were clean, of course it depends on the other roommates.
We entered the apartments with the code the Tatch team gave us without any issue.

Something to mention is, even for us was not a problem, it is clubbing area and there is noise during the night (until 1 am aprox).

Something that can be improved is the maintenance of somethings in the bathroom, room and common areas.

We rented a small room with a bunkbed. It had what you needed: Beds, a desk and AC.
The bathrooms were shared.
The room was clean, and the bathroom also.
The place was conveniently located, and we could easily go sightseeing in Boston.

Room was as advertised. Clean. Excellent location - close to nice bars and 20 min walk to the convention centre. They were extremely fast to respond to emails and accommodating of leaving luggage behind for a late check out. I would stay again 🙂

Great location if you’re in Boston for the St. Paddy's Day parade, otherwise I expect it would be too noisy. Room was a tiny bunk room, as expected (similar to other “pod” hotels in big cities). Shared bathroom wasn’t great. We asked about getting shampoo & soap for the shower the night we got there (there was an empty spot for the dispensers on the wall) & were promised the cleaners would bring them the next morning, but they never did, and it was a 3-night stay. Good thing there’s a CVS within walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay in room 104 as I knew what I was getting into before I got there but…

The location is about 17 minutes walk from the BCEC and had plenty of coffee shops and small lunch spots in the area. I will say that the amount of traffic that goes through that small street is surprisingly busy. But I was raised in a big city so it didn’t bother me much. It was a nice neighborhood and not a whole lot of issues navigating the area. People were friendly.

The room was nice and warm and pretty comfortable overall. Even so, it was much smaller than I imagined for the price I paid and given it had shared spaces (which for an introvert like me I would never use as to avoid strangers)especially knowing that I had a similar monetary offer at the OMNI with much more space and private bathrooms and kitchenette, it kind of puts a damper on the experience for me. Again I knew it was shared spaces before hand so not a deal killer.

The other guest were coming in and out of the building throughout the late evening into 2am in the morning. I was in the front unit literally a foot away from the front door, it was hard to get sleep during the last night due to the guest foot traffic.

Another concern I had was the fact that the front door code was the same code to my room, which made me wonder if someone had felt inclined they could test my door and make their way in while I was out. I suggest changing the door codes and keeping log of it for your cleaners as to increase the sense of security for your guest.

When I officially checked in around 4:30-5pm there was a used towel left in the shower of the shared bathroom and one on the cap of the toilet. There is also what looked like water damage from a previous leak above the wardrobe of my room. Pretty off putting.

Overall I gave it a four out of 5 stars because the communication is some of the best I’ve experienced in any stay, it was relatively close to everything I needed and it had everything I required but I probably wouldn’t do another shared space stay like this for the price I paid.

This location was perfect for me. Came from Estes Park, Colorado to visit my Sister. Her Apartment is to small for guests to spend the night. So I needed a Hotel room within walking distance to H Street & Thomas Park, Dorchester Street. Guess what no hotels within walking distance. Thatch Quarters to the rescue. It was perfect. Close to my sister, very comfortable room, comfortable bed, big screen TV, I was able to use my You Tube TV subscription on it. My Bathroom had a big shower, plenty of hot water, great water pressure. Towels, soap, shampoo and plenty of light. Great Pub across the street, Walgreens, Starbucks, Stop & Shop within walking distance. Even went to Mass at Gate of Heavens Church right off of H Street & E. Fifth Street.
