I have been calling to my case manager Kevin In Southbridge office for at least 15 times during 3 weeks and never got a call back!!! I called the general phone line and there is an automated system that does not connect to a live agent saying that there are technical difficulties! The worst customer service ever!! I have to go personally to the office tomorrow!!!

I don't understand all the negative reviews. I arrived, filled out the paper that asks basic info- name, d.ob., SS#, & reason for visit to the D.T.A. Office.
I Filled that form out, sat down, 2-3 minute, at the most for them to call my name. After that another 5 minutes, maybe faster and I was done and walking out the door.
If I could , I would give them 100 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I must say, I was astounded at how unhelpful it was for me to seek assistance here. I'm disabled, and did not receive my benefits, so I ventured to my local DTA location, this after having canceled my doctors appointment this day. I waited outside in the hallway with over a half dozen other people, until they unlocked the doors (late). Immediately a woman cut everyone in line---the staff allowed this, and even after we told them the woman had cut everyone, the staff rewarded her by assisting her first. It's funny, there were not one, but TWO security guards there, and yet it did not matter, for they were of no help either with the woman who cut the line on everyone who had waited. When I spoke to a staff member, I was told there was nothing they could do to help me, my benefits were simply lost; (a 'glitch,' they said) and there was no way to get me any emergency benefits for food, nor any way to know when the problem would be solved, nor anyone who I or they could call or talk to to help me get food through EBT. I left with a list of local food pantries (that I, not the staff, procured by asking for it; it was not offered.) I will say the staff was very polite about not being able to help me, (not withstanding them letting a woman cut everyone in line; and the woman who was first in line, who I spoke to, had two autistic children at home to get back to...) so I have no issues there, the staff seemed like very nice people, but still, I would have thought a personal visit to the DTA office would have resulted in more than just a list of churches where I could get a free can of soup. And while I'm at it, I called the DTA line all day Sunday, (which is when my benefits were due) yet could not get any help there, or anyone on the phone, and there was no message informing me of any 'glitch,' either. I also used the DTA app, and went to the website, but also found no help there. As of now, my benefits have simply... disappeared, and until, and I quote 'I.T. handles it,' there is apparently nothing humanly possible to be done. And so, I now go is search of churches... and some canned soup.

I’ll call first thing in the morning or even in the afternoon but all I get is there is a high call volume and I get hung up on no matter how many times I call in one sitting

I was put on hold for an hour and a half this morning. All I just wanted to do was apply for an EBT card. Instead I was put on hold and kept on there for that hour and a half until I hung up the phone. People shouldn't be kept on hold for as long as I was or maybe even longer. The system is flawed.

Can't talk to a human being. All I need is to reschedule a phone call. This system definitely needs to be fixed. I am going to be homeless. Actually I already am.

No one in line and it took half an hour. The lady who helped us had a bad attitude, the second lady was better. Like any government office around here tells you how they can't do anything to help you and how submitting extra documents won't change anything. Generally a bad attitude from them even if you go in with a good one.
