Decided to checkout the museum as one of the park Rangers on our way to P-Town told us about it. Nicely laid out, easy to view and informative exhibits. Only draw back, photos prohibited inside the museum. Hard to promote a place that doesn't allow photo to be shared with others or in reviews. But still worth checking it out. Great story and an enjoyable little museum. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms and a gift shop at end of the tour.

Interesting little museum filled with incredible artifacts. You start the tour with a quick but informative 5MIN overview video of the Whydah. After that you follow the arrows around the museum to different sections of information on the Whydah as well as piracy in general. Each area has several artifacts from the ship along with short descriptions. They have a guide walking around to ask if you have any questions on the section. They have some animatronics as well and sections recreating life on a pirate ship. The gift shop was nice. It was great to learn some new stuff and the whole experience was enjoyable.

Really enjoyable! Very interesting museum with real pirate treasure! They even have some treasure coins you can actually touch. Well done museum with a cute small gift shop and friendly staff. If you have an hour it’s a great stop and fun for kids. My son had fun completing their kid’s treasure hunt, and they give them a fun coin for completing it.

Was a nice museum, didn't like that you aren't allowed to take photos once you go in.
Interesting facts about pirates.
Was very interesting to see artifacts from a sunken pirate ship. Takes about an hour to walk through and read all the plaques

What a wonderful experience we had here! I highly recommend the Captains Tour. Mark our guide who's one of the Archeological Divers had so much detail that he shared with us from first hand experiences that if we had not had the opportunity to listen probably would not have learned as much as we did. We got so much more out of the experience. Very cool! I hope to come back again soon.

This exceeded my expectations! This was fantastic – there was so much great information. The displays were interactive, and everything in this museum was actual and real! I would highly, highly recommend, taking the walking tour with the tour guide, Jessica. She not only creates the museum, but she also is responsible for preserving some of the artifacts that they have pulled up year after year. It is really interesting. There is a ton of information and the museum is really well done. The big pile of treasure in the display case is actually real, too so there’s lots of gold and silver. I highly recommend that you go – this was an amazing experience! Five stars – 10 if I could give it!

It is an interesting exhibition. I would not recommend under the age of 8. Some parts can be scary for them.

Very cool museum! They house the only discovered and intact pirate treasure ever found, as well as lots of other artifacts from the ship. We enjoyed following the story of the Whydah and learning about the underwater archeology process as well!
