It seemed the captain had some friends or family on board cuz every time there was a sighting and of a whale or the shark he would turn the boat to the right. So the right side of the boat would be able to see the creatures until the left side about started getting angry and started yelling and say what about us? What about us? And finally we got to see the whales on the left side of the boat so be careful. It was okay. Been on better ones where the whales actually came up to the boat but it was okay. Little expensive. 500 little over $500 for seven people.

This was incredible. My wife had never seen a whale when whale watching and had heard tales from my childhood. So I decided to take her here and it was not a disappointment. While obviously, they can't make any guarantees, they were able to easily find the whales very quickly. And they were knowledgeable about what we were looking at too, which made the whole thing a lot more interesting. I would highly recommend this.

One word...AMAZING! Our first whale watching trip and we were not disappointed. We drove in from Tiverton and it was definitely worth the drive. Parking and checking in was very easy. The crew aboard the boat was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to see quite a few whales and were thrilled with what we got see. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great crew and experience! Captain Kenny brought us out and back in again with smooth sailing. Our naturalist was so knowledgeable and personable...a joy to listen to! The galley had a nice selection and the explanation of whale watching and maritime requirements, as well as the history near Plymouth was marvelous. Oh... The whales were pretty great, too! Lots of humpbacks on our excursion and other cool sites! Whale watching done right at Captain John's!

Loved this trip,very informative about the whales and behaviors of them, spent alot of time back and forth make sure all sides of the boat got a great sighting of the whales. Planning on another trip with the little kids.
