It's a place to explore, learn about and just genuinely take in nature and history in 1 memorable place. Easy to get to and easier to become lost or disoriented; So if you aren't familiar,or with a local please don't rely on your phone you most likely will NOT have Cell service.

Love this Forest! Haven't gotten back in a little under a year. I have had some of the strangest experiences in this forest. I do believe I experienced the phantom truck the last time I was there alone. I had brought my repod which is a paranormal device and it emits EMF to give the spirits more energy or at least that's the theory. I then watched a shadow of a humanoid type being walk behind a tree but never come out the other side. It kind of shocked me but I have seen paranormal things my whole life so I wasn't scared. I did continue down that trail later and just asked for the white light to protect me and nothing negative to come near me.. That same day it sounded like I was being surrounded by a lot of movement and then the energy got really uncomfortable I tried to stay calm and then I heard a loud engine of a truck zoom by pretty fast. If you know those roads you cannot really go too fast or you will rip the undercarriage of your car or vehicle out. I didn't know that that was part of the lore there until after the fact. But based on what I experienced it makes sense. I've also heard a lot of strange vocals I'm sure anyone who is a KNOWER will understand exactly what I'm talking about. As My son had a sighting there and has not reentered any forest with me since then That was a few years ago. But I'm glad he saw what he saw because now he is also a KNOWER!.
