These cabins are super cute, clean, and very cozy. Both nights the meadow beside the cabin had had 20 or more elk.

Cabin was very clean… very cute… theme based. You have everything you need there… full kitchen has plates/cups/ coffee maker/etc…bedroom has fluffy pillows , blankets etc… bath is a full bath. Place is quiet and if you’re lucky, elk will move through the meadow each evening/morning. Take note: no tv service although you can borrow a few DVDs if you really need to have the tv running. |Price is very reasonable and Jan does everything she can to make your stay a good one. There is a two night minimum requirement … but why wouldn’t you stay two ( or more !) nights?!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights.
The cabin was high quality, immaculate, everything in good working order, and in good condition. Wonderful setting. Host was attentive to questions and always helpful. Very well run. I would definitely recommend and I hope to go back.

We were really happy there. We had big fluffy towels, a decorated theme bathroom (ours was bears since we were in bear cabin), decorated shower curtains. We had a big antique dresser in our room and nice bed and bedding. The kitchen was well furnished with everything matching. There is a really nice freestanding gas fireplace. Wood blinds. There is a TV and DVD player but no reception (we really enjoyed not having programs and considered that a plus).||||Outside we had our own grill and picnic table and a small kennel for our dog.||||Jan, the owner and housekeeper was very concerned that we would be happy there.||||We went there to view wildlife. We saw elk everyday when we went out looking and Bighorn rams on the road to Big Lake. Jan told us some places to look and they were there most days. We will stay there next year too.

Wonderful experience at a fully appointed cabin! We're heading back there again soon. Brought our motorcycle along for incredible rides in the Alpine area. Absolutely the finest rides in the state of AZ. We went into NM for amazing scenery as well. Jan's cabins were well maintained and included everything you could want to make it a home. We cooked every meal there and never needed to go out. Loved that! Jan is an exceptional host. Or should I say hostess? Not sure on that one. But she stopped by every day to make sure all was good. She was kind enough to stay and share some local culture and history of Alpine's unique families. The nightly elk excursions in the meadow right outside the door were an exhilarating sight for sure! These cabins are just south and outside of town and on highway 191 to Hannagan Meadow and beyond. We stayed there 5 nights and wish it could have been much longer!

Cabin is simply, beautifully and rustically decorated. Immaculate with everything you need for a quick retreat. Elk even treated us, coming down out of the forest to meadows edge. Owner is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Looking forward to staying there again.
