We did the overnight with our scout troop. Troop 101 and the trip was enjoyed by all. Ghost stories and music tributes to WWll and Vietnam.
Definitely bring a sleeping pad or two for sleeping. Dinner was chicken, corn, Mac & cheese, chocolate pudding and chocolate milk. Breakfast was pancakes, sausage, hard boiled egg, an apple, milk and apple juice. They also had a snack bar open after dinner that had lots of favorites on it. Scouts went crazy for the ice cream / shakes / floats.
Declan and all the people working were great and very helpful.

One amazing experience that you will never forget♥️♥️🥰🥰. I felt like one more of the crew⛴️⛴️, the sensation to be here going down and up of each level of the ship was incredible😉😉😍😍 the history that you are going to see in each room indescriptible, but you need to use so many stairs so be prepared 🤔🤔🤨🤨😄😄. I really recommend this, especially for family time 💯 💯

Considering the amount of money and time it takes to maintain these ships it is quite amazing how well these ships are kept. Would highly recommend to visit, just make sure you have the time to see everything as every detail is amazing on these ships.

Lots if information and visited 2 ships. The submarine was not open, due to refurbishment.
Difficult to find due to no signposting and the Sat Nav kept trying to take us back onto the highway.
Well worth a visit.
Allow 3-4 hours.
Has food and toilets available

We took our 4 year old for the day and had a great time. We spent about 3 hours touring the ships. The submarine wasn’t open because it’s being worked on. The staff was nice and helpful. Remember to wear sneakers, definitely not sandals, for safety reasons and because you’ll be doing some climbing up and down steep stairs. There is a cafeteria on the USS Massachusetts, which was a lifesaver towards the end of our 3 hours as we were getting thirsty and hungry. The prices are very reasonable for a quick lunch. The museum down the street (within walking distance) has some very nice models of ships and a large model of the Titanic. We only spent about a half hour at this museum but was nice to pop in and see their displays. If you’re very interested in maritime history I would imagine that this museum would be interesting. We had our 4 year old with us so it didn’t hold his interest like it did for me and we ended up leaving earlier than I would have liked. There is also a carousel near the parking lot that looks really fun too. Lots to do in the area for the day!

Went to Battleship Cove and really enjoyed the experience. Seeing the USS Massachusetts is always awe inspiring. The tour about the main gun fire center was just incredible. Some really cool, knowledgeable folks getting very deep into how the system worked. A great way to spend a Summer afternoon learning more about our history.
