The band was excellent and had a great selection of holiday music. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Really enjoyed the evening and gave me the holiday spirit. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year to everyone.

Just had a function here last weekend. The food was fantastic. Management and staff were excellent. The music was great, the house DJ was awesome, played all different music from back in the day until today. He also had a good selection of Portuguese music.

The new management team and their staff are fantastic.
Super friendly and very helpful. They have definitely turned this place around. They are making it the go to place for parties.
We had over 200 guests and everyone left happy. Couldn't stop talking about the food and entertainment.

Would definitely recommend them to everyone I know. Ask for Roy or Tony they will give you 5 star service and help you make your event memorable.

I would definitely NOT recommend anyone book a function with this organization. The banquet hall coordinator, Gilda, was difficult to get a hold of (it took multiple phone calls over the course of a week to get a hold of her initially). When we finally did get in contact with her and scheduled an appointment she was an hour late. I understand being a few minutes late or maybe longer as a fluke, but she didn't even have the courtesy to call to say she was going to be late. Our second appointment was about the same. She was 30 minutes late and kept us waiting while she was in her office. Communication was a 1 out of 10 and very concerning as my fiance and I were trying to book the banquet hall for our wedding reception.

When I sat down with her the first to time to discuss menu prices we were quoted one price and when I signed a contract for the room it was another price. While their menu does state that prices can be raised, the banquet coordinator did not even mention the price increase let alone honor her original quote to us before I signed the contract. When I found out about this after the fact I decided to have our reception elsewhere. I asked for my $500 deposit back and they refused to return it. Their business practice is inconsiderate, deceptive, and downright unprofessional.

Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT plan an event here! You will be HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED by the lack of communication, consideration, and deception if my experience reflects their standard operations.

My boyfriend and I walk in to a wedding we were invited to and proceed to the bar in the foyer area to get a beverage, after all it’s a social occasion, we get in line, while we are standing waiting this man abrasively says, this bar is closed you can’t have a drink, with his hand up, which to me is offensive, I say “ oh ummm ok is there a bar in the Hall, he says No! I say to my guy jeez first time I’ve ever been invited to a wedding and upon our arrival the bar is closed!! Off we go to find our table, sit down introduce ourselves to everyone and the woman next to me says, can you believe we just got here and we were told we couldn’t have a drink from the bar!! I have a convo with her about the unwelcome atmosphere. Then my guy says hey there is another bar in this place let’s go get one over there and come back, ok off we go, we pass the closed bar and proceed down hallway and lo and behold there’s the event coordinater and he says oh you can go Iin here for a drink, really hmmm couldn’t of suggested that 10 minutes ago!! So we open the door to the lounge and said manager proceeds to tell me his reason for shutting us down in the beginning,now I’ve already have a bad experience with this rude man and say to him very politely that I don’t want to hear it!! He yells Lucy DO NOT SERVE THIS COUPLE, loudly so now everyone turns and stares at us so now he was not only arrogant he embarrassed us!! In all my years of being in the hospitality industry I’ve NEVER not allowed my customers invited guests to not have a libation upon there arrival at the venue!! Had he been a good manager coordinator etc he should of politely said folks, I apologize this bar is closing the couple is getting ready to be announced but if you’d like your welcome to go into the lounge for a drink! Instead he was a rude uptight gestapo!! With his defensive attitude he literally picked a fight with us and kicked us out!!! NICE KICKING OUT THE BRIDES FATHERS GOOD FRIEND WOW!! His approach and manners SUCKED AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIRING THIS PLACE EVER!! I WANT MY GUESTS TO BE TREATED AS IF THEY WERE IN MY HOME!! Thousands of hard earned money they gave that place only to rudely tell your guests no drinks for you!!! Personally I hope the guy changes his behavior on how he approaches and treats peoples guests in the future!! I’m glad we told him “XYZ” your self too cuz in my opinion he deliberately was rude unprofessional and down right ignorant!

I have been to OLOL quite often. I love the feast they run each year
The food they offer is some of the best Portuguese food offered. The people who run the event are so pleasant. Also, OLOL has been good for the neighborhood. Their generosity by letting another organization (Groundworks) use their large parking lot to have a Farmer's Market.
