Devastating experience. Waited 2 years to go to CV and was excited to go with my boyfriend and family. Did so much planning and was so excited. Spent $800 to go to Boston ( flight to Cape Verde left from Boston)and $1500 for tickets to Cape Verde. Got to the Boston airport to leave to to Cape Verde and was told I could not board because my passport expired in 4 months and it had to be valid 6 months after the date of travel. I believe travel agencies have a duty and responsibility to know current travel requirements for traveling and they should pass that information to they clients. Otherwise what’s the point? I could have booked this trip myself. I trusted we were in good hands and being taken care of and that wasn’t the case. I felt stranded and homeless for a moment in Boston and ending up flying back home alone. Out of $2300 spent we managed to get back only $650 and i could never get back the time spent in preparation for the trip and the two weeks I wasn’t there to experience Cape Verde with my boyfriend, son, and family.I’ll never book through this agency again. 😔
