This tour exceeded all expectations! Our guide went above and beyond to ensure we had as many adventures as possible, making every moment truly special. The small group size (just five of us) made the experience even better—we felt comfortable, well taken care of, and able to personalize our trip.

Some of the highlights included exploring Monteverde’s stunning cloud forest, a wildlife river cruise where we spotted incredible species, and relaxing on the white-sand beaches of Manuel Antonio alongside iguanas and capuchin monkeys. We also enjoyed zip-lining, hanging bridges, and a visit to a sloth reserve. My personal favorite was horseback riding on the beach—an optional activity I did on my own, but one I highly recommend. The photos from this trip are absolutely amazing!

Even the nighttime walk, which wasn’t my favorite activity, turned into a hilarious and memorable experience. I laughed so much that it ended up being fun, even though we didn’t see much (except in the parking lot!).

Overall, this trip was an incredible mix of adventure, nature, and fun. If you’re looking for an unforgettable way to experience Costa Rica, this is it. Highly recommend! If you’re lucky enough to get Diago as a guide, you will have an experience you’ll never forget. Diago deserves a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review direct to explore worldwide!! He went way above and beyond. He took us to amazing restaurants and was our personal photographer. I’ll never forget this trip! I went solo and met the group there and I felt safe with our guide and group. Madeira Island Discovery Tour was amazing! Awesome, breathtaking scenery, well planned itinerary & excursions. Good pace. Great guide! Friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the country. Pre-arranged dinners at local restaurants for those that wanted to join in made it easier at end of the day. Free day to explore was a nice break. Highly recommend!

The Dolomites hiking trip was perfect! We had an excellent hiking guide! Andy Hodges made the trip very enjoyable from the time he met us at the airport, to the hiking plans and meetings before the hikes, to his kind and friendly manner and incredible knowledge of the mountains. Every hike was a bit different and all the hikes were incredibly beautiful! The pace was moderate and perfect for most hikers. The buses to the trailheads were easy to access. The town of Dobbiaco is charming and the hotel very clean and relaxing. The food was very good with Austrian and Italian influences. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The only concerns I had were the Covid issues… when a hiker tested positive for Covid early in the trip she was still eating at our shared dining room table and sadly, we all ended up with Covid by the end of the trip (except one hiker that I am not sure of). I wonder if a Covid or illness protocol might assist to prevent the spread of the virus by asking those who feel sick to mask up early and move to another table? I am now sick and out of work although I know these are the chances we take by traveling and being around so many others from different countries. I also heard that the sick folks could not get hot tea or food at the hotel during the day which made it more uncomfortable for them. Having hot beverages and food available during the day would also be helpful to those who could not join the hikes due to illness.
Overall, the trip was excellent and I highly recommend it!!

Fantastic journey through Morocco! Explore guide Abrihim was knowledgeable, patient and fun. He adjusted the schedule as needed to optimize our experiences in Morocco. Food was great. A couple of long days in the van but stops were built in to stretch our legs and learn about the people and/or food of Morocco. Highly recommend this tour!

My daughter and I joined Explore for the Highlights of Greek Islands tour. It was perfect. Everything was amazing - from the hotels to food to hikes and time to relax. Our tour guide, Oksana, was the BEST ever! She knew her stuff, was kind, and made the trip that much more enjoyable. Naxos was particularly amazing! The hike on Santorini was fun and stunning! 100% recommend and looking to book my next trip with Explore!

My husband and I went on our first ever cycling trip in southern Murcia with Alex in April 2023, and we had an amazing time. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the care and coordination Alex put into the trip, from ensuring that we were checked in at each hotel, helping everyone navigate the tour route each day, and helping a group of anglophones navigate traditional Spanish cuisine. We got to travel through several small towns in Murcia by bike, seeing Murcia's beautiful landscapes and experiencing local points of interest with no crowds of tourists (other than ourselves!).

We had an absolute blast on this trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend Alex or Explore's southern Murcia cycle trip enough!

Excellent. The Eastern Algarve tour was tremendous. Great walks, lovely hotel, fantastic food, top-notch guide. We had 12 in our group, and that was a perfect size.
