I don't care for the trails here much as a hiker. Not a lot of variety or elevation and loads of bikes. But you can easily wonder for over 10 miles and there's way less litter compared to other PHX area parks/trails. The picnic and playground area seems really cool though and great for kids. I haven't seen any snakes but lots of lizards and birds.

I have not fully explored, but I love what I have seen so far. I will come back to explore a lot over time. Lots of trails, beautiful sights. There is a nature center that is nice and has some cool things to see and buy. There are fees. I would recommend. It seems to be a less busy compared to some other Maricopa parks.

i only saw 1 bench.. but it’s good for long hiking as i didn’t finish the trail.

Great place to hike, but unfortunately, we didn't wear the right shoes. Regardless, we found the easy trails to walk on. Trails were easy to walk, well marked. It does cost $7 at the gate, but this park is huge. Lots of restrooms available, it appears overnight camping is available for trailers and RV. The park is dog friendly, and the lady at the gate gave him a treat when we paid. Lots of covered areas with picnic tables.

Happy to see Estrella growing in beautiful ways. I’ve enjoyed the trails and the Camp Hosts have been nothing short of amazing. It’s always great to see their friendly smiling faces. Hope Estrella with have camping in the future. It has so many wonderful trails to explore. It’s definitely a hidden gem I enjoy spending time at. The park is always clean and well cared for. Even by trail crews out working hard.

Usually never crowded, so great for quiet hikes. There are lots of nice hiking trails and a great playground. There is a charge of $7 to enter, so 4 stars.

It’s a beautiful park. Went midday on a Wednesday and it was not crowded. We had the Gila Trail to ourselves. It’s super easy and flat the entire trail. Perfect for a beginner. Look forward to exploring more trails there this years

Great places to hike plenty of parking. $7 to get it. I hiked the baseline trail. It was easy going some younger people could probably jog it.
