I had a wonderful time! The weather was beautiful and the fresh snow was awesome. We saw a lot of tracks and talked about a lot of trees. We also had a big surprise when my guide spotted a porcupine in a tree! A lovely day!

Had an amazing adventure learning from Prof. Richard Little all about the unique geology of Franklin County including the colliding of Pangea, Glacial Lake Hitchcock and the weirdly fascinating Armoured Mud Balls.We were driven around in a comfy shuttle bus by our attentive host Brian from Adventure East which allowed us to focus on the topic and chat with our fellow travelers. If dinosaurs and Jurassic times are intriguing, this trip is for you.

My daughter and I experienced our first kayaking adventure with the Adventure East team and we couldn't have been happier! Bill and David were excellent guides on the 10-mile paddle down the Connecticut River, making sure that it was safe and fun the entire time. We can't wait to enjoy our next adventure!

Clear directions to an easy put-in. Nice stiff winds to sharpen paddle stroke efficiency. Trevor and Garth were amiable and clear in their instruction. The boats were more than adequate to handle the conditions. It was a gorgeous fall day on a section of the river that I had never paddled so that added to the enjoyment of the outing.Adventure East is a wonderful local resource and a great way to meet kindred spirits.
