This isn't just a tourist destination, it is also a place to show your respect.
The memorial is beautiful and the history of the code talkers that was never shared in our classrooms is something to experience as you walk around this beautiful park. Oh yes, Window Rock is well worth the stop

This place was nice. I do wish it was better maintained with the weeds. But overall it was nice and I recommend everyone come and see it.

Enjoyed the 2 half mile hike, and the beautiful scenery. Navajo Nation did an awesome Job, I will revisit the NN Veterans Memorial Park.

We only found this place because we put Window Rock as the destination in the sat nav, you wouldn’t see it just passing through . A beautiful place

This memorial park is free to visit and very well kept. It is a short drive into the town from the main highway but the roads are small and you can get turned around, so best to keep the GPS on. In the rear of the park is the beautiful Window Rock and in the foreground are the monuments and statues honoring the Navajo Code Talkers from WWII. This stop is more of an observe and appreciate type of place, don’t go looking for things to do or hiking opportunities.
