It's been a month since our wedding and I think I'm finally ready to write a review.

Overall the venue is stunning and there are tons of indoor and outdoor options. How you use the space is pretty customizable. We got married 10/20 at gatehouse and the ivy was a deep, beautiful red. Our reception was very fun and we danced the night away!

When you book here, you're assigned a wedding coordinator who is more than a day of coordinator but not exactly a wedding planner. Their job is to be a go between for vendors to take the stress off of the couple who is planning. Once we got into planning, the coordinator only had a small list of "preferred vendors" for Lionsgate, which she would help coordinate with. The preferred vendors were more expensive than average and not really our taste as a queer couple. So, a lot of the planning fell to us. If you get married here, my advice would be to hire a wedding planner anyway.

Note that if you book here you have to use their preferred liquor vendor (party liquor) as well as hire a Lionsgate preferred DJ. You can hire any other vendors you'd like. When you ask for prices, make sure to ask for hidden fees and costs. We have had a couple of surprises in our bills and deposits.

We had our wedding on September 21st here at the Gatehouse and it was spectacular! Alaina was our coordinator and from day one we knew that she was the perfect fit. She answered all of my millions of questions, was the biggest help the entire way leading up to our big day and truly was a blessing on the day of our wedding. Alaina made this process so smooth and easy going. Day of she was always there in the blink of an eye willing to help and guide in whatever way was needed. In the end she felt more like a friend to me and I’ll forever be grateful for her help, guidance and creativity along the way! If I could get married again a thousand times and change nothing, I would. All of the preferred vendors that Lionsgate offered and that we used were amazing. They had great teamwork and communication during the entirety!

We held our wedding at the Gatehouse at Lionsgate in June, and it was perfect! The venue was beautiful, and the process was so easy! Hanna was our wedding coordinator, and she was fabulous throughout the entire planning experience! She was very responsive in answering all of my many questions, and she took care of so many details. I appreciated that she had so much experience and could help us navigate this huge event in our lives! The preferred vendors are great, and I had full trust in all of them, which allowed me to relax and fully enjoy the day. I can't recommend this venue enough! Thanks to Hanna and all of the staff for the BEST wedding day!

Lionsgate is an amazing venue with beautiful locations, but the best part of having our wedding there was the AMAZING work that Madeline and her team did leading up to and on the day of the wedding! She was quick to respond, came up with easy solutions any time I had a concern, worked with all of our vendors so well, and was full of energy and smiles on the wedding day!

We got married at the Dovehouse at Lionsgate Event Center and I fell in love with the venue as soon as we took a tour. The staff was so professional and nice, they even sent us home with a bottle of wine and some other goodies after our tour! We booked them in October 2022 for June 2024 and they were very helpful and professional through the entire experience. Our coordinator, Hanna, was super responsive and communicative from the moment we booked until our wedding day. She helped us find the perfect vendors and answered all of our planning questions along the way. The venue is so stunning and so unique, I feel like there are no other venues like it in Colorado. They include a lot with the venue too, such as the linens, chairs, dishes, silverware, easels, etc. and a lot of other venues we toured did not include any of those things. Our guests loved it and had the best time, the staff was amazing, their preferred vendors are fantastic, and they definitely know what they are doing as a wedding venue! They were also featured on Married at First Sight recently, so it was really fun to watch those episodes leading up to our wedding day!

Quite frankly I wish I had the money to have another wedding so I could book with them again!

the venue space was beautiful, even in the beginning of November! we had the Dove house and it was perfect for what we needed and to make our vision come true. The staff was so professional that night and worked so hard and added their services seamlessly to the night, very efficient and attentive without being overly so.

Our wedding coordinator was a godsend, we had Madeline and she was the best thing to happen to me with this wedding. She went above and beyond to help us achieve our vision within the budget that we had set. She was extremely knowledgeable about what vendors would work well with us personality wise as well as where to get some of our decorations at a decent price. She was very communicative and understanding with what needed to be done and when, with suggestions, and just reassurance when I was extremely stressed with planning the weeding and going to school, she really stepped up and was integral to making our day as magical as it was and run as smoothly as it did. Without her I would had been a stressed mess and things wouldn't have been as amazing as they were.

I will always recommend this venue!

My husband and I got married at Lionsgate Gatehouse this past November and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff is so friendly, and the grounds is just breathtaking! Both the groomsmen suite and bridal suite are one of a kind with beautiful decor and photo opportunities! Each venue also has its own charm. Our coordinator was Madeline, she made our wedding journey experience such a breeze. She is very friendly, relatable, and most of all a professional. She was available for any questions or concerns I had throughout the planning process. She handled everything the day off and I was not bothered once and able to enjoy the day with loved ones. We would recommend anyone to Lionsgate and Madeline to make their big day headache free and special. Thank you!!

We had an amazing experience getting married at Lionsgate. The staff is top notch, particularly Alaina. She helped us find our vendors, was always very quick to respond and did everything in her power to make our day exactly what we wanted. I was intimidated by wedding planning and without Alaina, I’m not sure we could have made it to the finish line. Thank you Lionsgate for helping us create the perfect wedding day we will never forget!
