"Beautiful hike through globally rare dune and swale ecosystem. A bit hard to find and right next to an expressway and some factories, Seidner isn't immediately likable. But the birding on the Grand Calumet is excellent--gulls, herons, egrets, swans, and eagles are what I saw on a short visit. This is what NW Indiana lost to industrialization."
"Seidner is a beautiful preserve with tons of native plants and animals to observe. It's a gravel path so it's an easy walk, perfect to view wildflowers in the springtime A hidden gem in northwest Indiana."
