I highly recommend you visit! Four of us visited yesterday and spent 5 hours there. Super easy to navigate, restrooms, seating and drinking fountains spread throughout the facility. There were a few movies spread throughout and occasional exhibits to touch. Nice Elvis exhibit.
Enjoyed the gangster area.
Interesting car collection of high ranking officials.
Beautiful clock collection.
Interesting exhibits on Lincoln, Kennedy...including Jackie Kennedy.
Show biz vehicles.
Animal exhibit.
There was a historian there the whole time. His name is Tony. He answered all of our questions.
Happy we made it there and looking forward to another visit as I understand they are adding more exhibits.

This is an attraction you should not miss. Don't let the name fool you; this museum is FULL of historic items you can't see elsewhere. The museum features famous cars, wax figures, White House furniture, and sections highlighting US President, gangsters, serial killers, outlaws, and so much more. Our group of 12 ranged in age from 8 to 74, and there was something everyone could enjoy. It was such an educational attraction, and Tony was so helpful in answering our questions. There is tons of parking, a reasonable entry fee, a large gift shop, restrooms, and beverage vending machines. Don't miss this hidden treasure!

This was my first time here. We had a great experience at this local gem, hiding in plain sight! We took a friend's dad and my older brother. There was so much to see! It is separated into different areas. Lots of presidential artifacts, old west, NASA, historical war uniforms & weapons, an entire collection of historical clocks that were more like works of art, a monster truck, & various racing vehicles for land and sea. Our favorite areas were probably gangster land and movie land.
The place is much bigger than I expected. We spent just over 2 hours, but I could have easily spent an extra hour or 2. I am certain we will go back to see it all again.
They do have a few scooters available for those who may have trouble walking the whole thing. There are benches to sit and take breaks throughout the museum. There is also a bathroom, some tables, and a couple of vending machines just past the halfway point if you need a break.
They also have a decent size gift shop with t-shirts, many metal wall signs, various tv and movie license plates, and other kitschy stuff. I thought the prices were reasonable for a museum gift shop. I think the t-shirt was $25, and the 8x10 metal "hot rod garage" wall sign was $15.
Support local! 🙂

We visited the Historic Auto Attractions Museum in Roscoe on January 4; a family member recommended we visit and I didn’t know what to expect , since the museum is tucked away in a business park. I was so impressed by the vastness of this collection, it’s so much more than just cars. From Annie Oakley’s gun and other “Frontier” collections to an amazing collection of presidential and world leader’s vehicles (so cool to see how thick that bulletproof glass really is). There is a collection of WWII military uniforms and hats/helmets from all over the world and a nostalgic look at radios, clocks and tv’s from the early days of those technologies. My favorite collection was the JFK collection. Having been to the Dallas Book Depository /JKF museum, this collection rivals the collection of artifacts that documents this unfortunate moment in our history. They have the actual secret service limousine that was following the Kennedy/Connally car and the only replica of the actual car Kennedy was driving in at the time he was shot. It was like stepping into a history book. Ken Farrell, Sr. the resident historian was a delight to speak with. His stories and knowledge of the artifacts was the icing on the cake. Take the time to visit this gem of a museum— you will be glad you did!

Can’t say enough about this place. I’m not even a “car guy” but don’t let the name fool you. This inconspicuous place holds much more than auto attractions. It is full of rich historical items that will take you on a 3-4 hour journey. One of the best museums I’ve ever been to. I would consider it a must stop

We had a great time here. Thought it was just going to be an afternoon of looking at cars, but it was much more. It was very educational. They had some displays of the old west, displays of the presidents and their limousines, displays of the old mob era like Capone and Bonnie and Clyde with lots of informative panels to read. In the displays of the presidents, there were several videos running that you could watch. Although you can go through at your own pace, it took us about 2.5 hours to go through.

What an amazing hidden gem of a museum! This place has a multitude of unique items of true historical importance (JFK's casket shroud flag, Stalin's limo, etc.). My skeptical wife who thought it was going to be a boring oddball museum even agreed it was totally a worthwhile stop. We didn't have too much time and only spent ~1.5 hours here, but you could easily spend 4+ hours here if you wanted a detailed look at everything. A must see on any roadtrip through the area!
