I ventured to the Stephenson County Fair with my offspring. We sought entertainment and good eats. They enjoyed the animals while also finding nourishment through fried cheese. A good time was had by all.

They failed to educate about re-entry Our family left after one hour on closing day to go to an ATM before the fairway opened. Upon pulling up to the entrance, they decided it would be appropriate to charge us again.

They said we failed to get stamped and demanded more money. There was no one on the way out to stamp, and they didn't tell us on the way in. I had to escalate to management, which, of course, was happy to oblige and was curious on why they were even called about something so absurd.

The point is that we were treated like trash because we wanted to kill time before the rides opened. So if you leave, make sure you plan not to come back. We had to wait to escalate to management. Only after 30 min of arguing with the entry persons were we awarded reentry when a manager came to deescalate the situation.

We went on the closing day. They should have understood we wanted to spend additional money on rides, and they almost didn't get the green because I refused to pay twice to get in on the same day.

Poor service. Service is the most important aspect of anything. They berated us for not knowing what they didn't tell us.

We had so much fun at the 2021 fair! The rides were great, the food was awesome and the music was jamming! Parking was no problem and there was plenty to do and see. Can't wait for next year! Thanks for a fun time!

It is nothing compared to what it used to be but it was alright. Went to the beef producers building and had a ribeye steak sandwich that was worth the trip to the fair. Took my 4 y/o grandson this year he had a great time riding the rides and seeing the animals

This used to be such a good time growing up and we always looked forward to it. Since they moved the dates up so early there is not much to see. My kids did have a good time looking at animals and tractors but there were barely any entries of plants and crops And such. We went on Saturday and the crowds were very small. We we're leaving half an hour before the main show and the lot wasn't at the half full mark yet. It's really too bad.
