I recently got married in May. I wanted a small intimate wedding that would not break the bank. After many searches I came across Galena Mini Weddings. I had a beautiful wedding while being under budget. Angie was wonderful to work with. She was diligent to make our day special. I appreciate Angie and her team for what they do. I have a difficult time planning events and she made the planning stress free and enjoyable. She was accommodating, understanding, and wonderful to talk to. She and her team were professional. They did a wonderful job with the set up. I was able to customize the wedding to my liking and make it very personal. Everything about the day was perfect. Amy the photographer was fun and spunky. She made the experience fun and her pictures are wonderful. My family enjoyed themselves and were very impressed with Galena Mini Weddings. I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Angela and Galena Mini Weddings. My fiancé and I wanted a casual, intimate event. We were on a budget and really struggled to find a venue that met our needs within our price range. Then, I stumbled upon Galena Mini Weddings. We thought it would be perfect to get married in Galena since that is where we got engaged. Angela took care of every single detail, for an incredible price, and made our entire wedding such a beautiful and stress-free experience.
I really wanted the freedom to customize the ceremony. Angela accommodated us and found a wonderful officiant who created a beautiful, personalized ceremony just for us. Angela made all our guests feel welcome, provided us with great pictures, and worked with me on catering a delicious meal for our guests.
Everyone had a great time. I’ve gotten so many calls from our guests just ranting and raving about how wonderful it was. It was exactly what I wanted and we are so grateful to Angela for everything.

Our wedding was perfect from start to finish, Angela exceeded our expectations with every detail. I was very specific about my wedding colors and my pale pink wedding bouquet was stunning. The cake was beyond delicious and beautiful, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Galena Mini Weddings is affordable and top notch, I highly recommend. Angela did a wonderful job coordinating all of our events and helping connect us with what we needed. We had 5 events over 3 days, a large guest list, and big ambitious plans -- Angela helped our vision come together beautifully and we couldn't have done it without her...though she just might have to change the name of her company to Galena Macro Weddings 🙂

Angela gave us a wonderful ceremony outdoors that accommodated the rain, had the perfect officiant and ran so smoothly I never missed a step. We appreciated the beautiful bouquets and the matching wedding cake decorations. Easy and seamless!

We just had to cancel our date due to COVID-19. We tried to reschedule for the 29th of August but, that isn't working either. We gave Angela and Christopher at deposit of $1351 that is Angela will not refund. Given the current social climate THIS IS INSULTING! If Galena Mini Weddings needs our measly $1351 to sty in business....WOW! ii AM ASKING ALL OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO POST AND PROTEST THIS! What a horribly bad move on their part - SHAMEFUL!~

Future brides, please, please, please be very wary of this business! I just had my wedding with Galena Mini Weddings and it was the complete opposite of what we talked about and what I paid for! The food was awful! Not only did it taste terrible, everything was piled in a huge heap in the middle of the plate. We ate off of plastic plates with disposable silverware! In the package that you pay for, it states that she uses china, she absolutely does NOT! We emailed for months about the decor. Not one single idea that she promised me was at the venue. Our package included 144 bottles of wine, several cases of beer and liquor. She waited until during the reception to tell us that our venue would not serve the liquor. Now she will not return my emails regarding the rest of the alcohol that was purchased. The head count at the wedding was 45, there is zero chance that we went through all that wine! Possibly the worst thing that happened during the night was my entrance to the ceremony. The romantic song that we chose for my dad to walk me down the aisle, skipped and broke up the entire time. I was crying because I've never been so mortified! The bottom line is this, you trust your big day to these people and when they do not deliver, it leaves a very cheated feeling. I wanted an extremely romantic and elegant wedding. They provided a very thrown together, cheap looking wedding at best.
