Everything about this venue is absolutely perfect. We have now held 2 business meetings here and it was over the top beautiful. The access you have to things you would not normally have eases your mind. The owners are outstanding communicators and are there to help. If you’re looking for something different, great price range and an unforgettable event… The Gathering Place is it!!!!

My team spent two days at The Gathering Place for a meeting, and the group left raving about the setting. The consensus from the group was the quick 30 minute drive from the hotel in Champaign was worth every minute to be at such a wonderful facility in a truly unique setting. Janelle was very helpful in planning and executing my meeting, going above and beyond for us! Highly recommend!

We had a baby shower at The Gathering Place and I cannot recommend it enough. The venue is stunning with no detail left behind. The shiplap walls, the comfortable furniture, the beautiful countertops, and the amazing bar are just a few to name.
The glass garage door is able to open to let in air on a beautiful day like we had allowing us to have outdoor seating as an option as well.
There is a sound system throughout the venue with volumes that are adjustable from room to room so you can have music playing during your event.
The Gathering Place also supplied tablecloths for us to use which was such a huge help.
Janelle was such a great host and was so helpful through the entire journey.

We had a fantastic experience for our retreat at The Gathering Place! It’s a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re at home. The space itself is beautiful and the entire property is so open and inviting. Plus the customer service is top notch!

Functional and beautiful- The Gathering Place is an incredible venue, for any event-large or small. Truly a beautiful setting, property, and event space with ample room for large events, and plenty of accommodations. Everything was thought of when the owners were creating this space! My kids had the best time here and didn’t want to leave, we will definitely be back to The Gathering Place!

Such a beautiful space, both inside and out. I have been to 2 retreats here, and the space is very functional. Room to lounge inside, enjoy meals, plan a craft… space outside to spread out for a variety of activities, from yoga to yard games. Lots of parking too, so it would also be great for larger events, including weddings! Janelle is a great hostess and will ensure your needs are met!

The Gathering Place was the perfect wedding venue for us! The venue has lots to offer!! The property and building are gorgeous and well-kept! We had an outdoor ceremony by the pond! Our guests also loved the space and raved about it! The owners are so kind and accommodating! Can’t say enough good things about the venue or owners!
