Attended a wedding here, and the venue was GORGEOUS. Lots of western charm with well-executed food and dancing! This was the last wedding of the season, and it was extremely hot at the 5pm start. But otherwise, the staff was nice and professional, the lights were beautiful after sundown, and the bbq dinner was absolutely delicious. I can’t speak to the cost or planning process because I was just an attendee, but it was a terrific experience to be here.

The best place for a genuine Arizona wedding; we could not have asked for a better venue! Lisa and Amber are amazing, helpful, and organized. They are both very easy to work with and are great with their communication. The day of went extremely smooth, our guests were wow'ed with the landscape and the barn. Amber communicated with all the vendors to ensure all needs were met prior to the day of. I am so happy with how the wedding and reception turned out! Our wedding was the best day of our lives so far, and I am so happy it happened at Desert Foothills.

Being a destination wedding and event photographer has many benefits. One of them is being able to discover and be inspired by amazing venues all over the country! I recently photographed a really cool wedding at the Desert Foothills Resort, which is a fairly new and un-discovered location outside of Phoenix for weddings. We came here for a wedding and it is a beautiful venue. The way the cactuses are lit up at night different colours is gorgeous. Make sure to wear comfy shoes as it's a dirt ground with lots of small rocks. It's also a little tricky to find the path to the barn via car but with good directions it's not bad

Love this venue, so unique and so beautiful! Hidden little (pretty large) gem in Arizona. I have DJ'd several events here and every one seems to be so stinkin' memorable! Great staff, excellent location - Love it here!

Lisa and her staff are truly incredible. I highly recommend this venue for any of your event needs. We got married here on April 3, 2022 and have NOTHING to complain about. Lisa and her staff are attentive and are so helpful with everything. They have such knowledge of weddings and i felt truly supported throughout the process. Oh, and the venue is GORGEOUS!! Most of our guests were from out of state and they were blown away.

UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE – A+
I can’t say enough good things about our company’s experience at Desert Foothills. Joanie, the events manager, was incredible. She truly listened to what we were looking to accomplish and pulled together a fantastic proposal with storyboards so we can see our vision come to life. Once it came time for us to have the event the execution was flawless. She delivered on everything she promised. Our group of about 400 people had an amazing time at the venue. I would highly recommend Desert Foothills and working with Joanie.

This place was great. Simple idea of converting a big barn and a nice plot of land into an event space. I can see why it's popular for weddings and small to mid-sized events. It sits back into the desert (I mean real desert like 1/4 mile off E. Jomax Rd. out in the middle of sand.) Up in No. North Scottsdale. It's very well maintained, even had valet parking that was a great service. One suggestion you need a better sign identifying the venue from the road. It took forever to get an Uber to find us.
