Mickey was a terrific tour guide. Not only did she take us to places for photo opportunities, she gave us an excellent overview and history of Ketchikan. Learning what the carvings on a totem pole was fascinating. It was like 2 tours in 1. We would recommend her and this company, who's owner also greeted us on the dock prior to departure. The coffee and cookie (wow what a cookie) were a nice treat too.

Brock was a fantastic tour guide. He showed us great spots around town, educating us about both the local history and the natural features. He was very knowledgeable about both. He also taught us great tips on getting better photos out of one’s camera and/or iPhone. It rained quite a bit during our tour—be prepared with waterproof raincoat and head covering. We had a great time nevertheless.

We booked this tour to get away from
The basic places. We had an awesome time. The gal was only here as a seasonal employee, but clearly knew her stuff.

She brought us to a quiet parking lot to see Creek Street, the marina / breakwater, the Library, lots of totems, and the Potlatch Totem Park.

She taught us smart phone photo tips! I’ve been able to capture much better photos now.

We were also very close to our all aboard time, so she dropped us off at the NCL terminal. Thanks!!

If you want an excursion that is both educational and enjoyable, I highly recommend Ketchikan Photo Safari. Even if you don't consider yourself a photographer, it's worth getting off the beaten path and experiencing Ketchikan through a broader aperture. I had a great time looking at different vantage points, settings, and tips with our photo guide Mark Bofinger.
