We worked with Syrie and the Social Maven team for our wedding this September and could not be more grateful for the time, care, and thought they put into our event. We worked closely with Syrie for a year and half to plan our wedding in my parents’ backyard. Syrie and her in team, in conjunction with our incredible vendors (all recommendations of Syrie’s) turned our backyard into a stunning and intimate venue for a wedding. We were fully present and able to spend time with our loved ones and each other on the day, all thanks to Syrie. Despite a very rainy morning, Syrie’s team made a beautiful outdoor evening ceremony and cocktail hour possible. Syrie always advocated for us throughout the process, and prioritized the comfort and enjoyment of our guests as well (which was very important to us).

Hiring Syrie and her team at social maven was the best decision of our wedding planning process! After watching her execute a wedding for my best friend in June of 2021, the first thing I did when I got engaged was reach out to Syrie. Our venue had an onsite coordinator (who was wonderful), but Syrie brought an added level of organization and attention to detail which allowed for the planning process to be as fun and stress free for myself and my fiancé. Syrie was always prompt and thorough in her responses on email and during meetings. On the day of, Syrie took care of everything and made sure the day flowed as smoothly as possible. Syrie was one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning! We used Syrie for partial planning & design for our two day multicultural wedding celebration and she was truly amazing. From the first phone call, we connected immediately and I was so impressed with her ability to connect, transparency, and helpfulness before we had even decided to hire her. My partner and I began our journey with Syrie as our wedding planner back in the fall of 2020, and we can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We started with a selected venue but little else. Syrie, with her organized approach and expertise, transformed our vague ideas into a stunning wedding reality. We ended up choosing The Admiral Room, a venue we hadn't initially considered, but it turned out to be a gem. Its grandeur resonated with us perfectly – yet another testament to Syrie's understanding of our tastes and preferences.

Syrie's expertise also shone when it came to vendor selection. She provided a plethora of options for each service, letting us evaluate different styles and approaches. Each vendor we chose delivered impeccable service, with a special shout-out to Tori Vee who created an extraordinary musical ambiance.

Syrie is an impressive organizational powerhouse. Having her as our planner allowed us to focus on savoring every moment of our special day. Her efficient staff resolved a minor hiccup with a vendor within half an hour – we barely noticed it had happened.

Our experience with Syrie was nothing short of magnificent. She guided us through a daunting process with grace, expertise, and foresight. Syrie not only saved us from potential disaster but helped create a day that was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. We enthusiastically recommend Syrie.
