WOW! From the very beginning, we knew this was our dream venue. Not only was Mike up front about how everything worked, what was included, things we could add on, etc, but he was such a pleasure to work with! It's no wonder they've been in business so long!

The Gardens are not far from our house, but it's this little slice of paradise tucked away from all the nearby commotions. We loved EVERYTHING about The Gardens. The property is dreamy and beyond well-kept. The flowers, fairy lights and small waterfalls and creek winding through the gardens just give you total serenity and joy.

We could not have made a better choice for such a beautiful place to start our new lives together as a married couple. Even all our friends and family could not stop gushing about how stunning the whole place was! Honestly, I hope someone we know gets married here soon because I want to go back and relive those special moments we had from our own wedding.

Ladies, when you found your hunny and you just knew that was it, they were the one...well that's how this place made us feel. It was absolutely perfect and am so happy we found it. The Gardens are truly a hidden gem, a little paradise tucked away to get lost in the magical moments of your wedding day <3

My daughter's wedding was here. It is so beautiful and quiet and every inch is filled with summer flower planter. There was water stream, water fountain, bridge, much shade as well as sunny spots. It is picture perfect. And if it was raining there is a indoor space for the ceremony.

The garden area was really nice with several flowing fountains/waterfalls.

A hidden and magical place perfect for your fairy-tail wedding. The gardens are one of the best in the Chicago region and take you to a place you'd find in your dreams. Getting married here is like a celebration in the Garden of Eden. Highly recommend.

I am so happy that we chose the Gardens of Woodstock for our wedding. Everything is done thoughtfully and with great organization so that I (the bride) could have a smooth, easy day. We had the space from 10am-11pm, a 5pm-ish ceremony, and 7-ish dinner.

I highly recommend touring and booking early. We knew we wanted a Saturday event when we started looking in Aug 2022, and there were only 2 or 3 available for all of the 2023 season.

I loved that there are a variety of spaces to use. The gardens are amazing for pictures and guests to walk through for fresh air. The tent was comfortable all evening for dinner and dancing (in July heat). Guests have indoor and outdoor seating options during cocktail hour. The Bridal suite had space for lounging, hair and make-up, as well as drinks and food.

The owner, Mike, is also incredibly responsive. He helped us remember billing dates and contract information while promptly responding to questions that came up during planning.

Beverage package prices were comparable to other venues we had toured. The catering was from Noteable Events. It included many options to fit various budgets and our dinner was DELICIOUS.

The biggest difficulty we had was organizing our DJ set ups. He had 1 stand inside the tent for the reception and a second one for the ceremony and cocktail hour. We did have a small gap in music because his gear had to move after our ceremony to be heard clearly for cocktail hour.

A final thing to consider is that the venue requires driving to anything. Closest hotels are a few miles away, and there wasn't really late night options like bars for an after party, or late night fast food without driving 10-15 minutes into Woodstock or Crystal Lake.

Attended an early fall wedding. The venue was very lovely with the beginning of the color change. Lots
of little nooks and crannies for photo ops...water falls, gazebo, seating areas and the stage where the wedding was had gorgeous planters and greenery.
Indoors for a cocktail hour and dinner in the tent was delightful.

We had our reception at the gardens of Woodstock this past September and it was wonderful! Mike was extremely responsive and great to work with. All the guests raved about how beautiful it was and how good the food was, we honestly could not have been happier with this venue! The only difficult thing was decorating - since there was an event the night before, we had to set up and tear down all in one day, which was hard because our ceremony was an hour away. Luckily, Mike let us leave a car full of decorations in a back lot and some friends went and set everything up for us, so it worked out.
