This town generates revenue through traffic cameras that seem to target law-abiding citizens.
Perhaps those who create such regulations should consider a different approach: if a driver passes by a house creating excessive noise or honking their horn, they should be required to compensate the homeowner for the disturbance. This would address the impact on the homeowner's peace and quiet rather than penalizing responsible drivers.

Red Light camera at the corner of 12 and 120 turn lane from green to red 8 seconds total length. Clearly set up for optimized revenue and not public safety. Shady behavior from a township.

They will not be fair when it comes to red light cameras, and if you have a legitimate appeal, they definitely don't consider it. I am just glad that I teach for living, and my job is to help people, not find ways to hurt them, especially in this economy. I am a single mom to three kids, and I moved here because I needed a safe place to raise them where I could afford to give them a good life, but it seems like there are still people out here looking to harm those in their communities with no regard for who those people are as human beings aside from being $$$. That's a sad life, especially when times are tough for most of us making an honest living. Instead of investing in those red light cameras that are wrong most times, why not invest into helping the people in your community? Or maybe spend time going after people who really hurt others.

If you visit, be sure to stop, get out of your car, and wave to the red light camera before getting back in and proceeding to really prove that you made a complete stop. Otherwise they’ll slap you with a red light ticket. What a money grab joke from these clowns.
