A great place for a leisurely afternoon walk or jog. This park is a bit away from the residential neighborhoods but it feels safe with a lot of joggers & dog walkers. However, the trail is really more of a prairie with wild flowers and shrubs. There is no tree tall enough to provide a shade, despite “Forest” in the name.

Always like checking out new spots to ride. I took my bike up here and enjoyed it. Cool scenery, a few bridges you get to cross, there was an underpass that took you to the other side of the path. I enjoyed exploring the area. Paths are both paved and fine gravel. Also looked like it was pet friendly, people walking, jogging and getting their steps in. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent trails with many bridges. Circles some waterways so there are a nice variety of birds. They have planted trees along the path. In 15+ years this will be even better to provide shade. For now, it's mostly wide open prairie with water areas.

One of my favorite spots to walk and enjoy nature and wonderful weather.
It has many trails short, long and has benches to sit and relax.
It has all gender bathrooms in the entrance of the preserve.
I saw many birds, and deer before in there.
I recommend it for walking, biking or even fishing ( it s catch and release), i saw a part of hatched egg 🪺

Very nicely put together area. Larger than expected, and quite a few paths to take. Pretty busy area, and quite a bit of street noise through some of the walk. Because the trees aren't mature its pretty open to the sun, so prepare for that.

This place is a gem. Beautiful spot for a sunset walk and spotting gorgeous wildflowers. You honestly can’t go wrong with the route. There is also a gorgeous yellow flower field when you turn in off lake cook at the light before Arlington Heights Rd.

Beautiful trail, great for walking, jogging, and biking. Deer, egret, ducks, and rabbits can be seen every day in the non-winter months.
