Marianmade Farm was a dream of a venue for our September wedding! The communication is great, and the team keeps the grounds looking gorgeous and the flowers vibrant, even into the fall. A few members of the wedding party stayed in the cottage and it was the perfect home base for the weekend. We hosted our Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party, and Wedding at Marianmade and between the outdoor ceremony space, cocktail hour on the patio, dinner in the tent, and dancing in the barn, there were so many beautiful spaces to make each part of the weekend unique.

We would highly recommend Marianmade Farm to anyone looking for a venue in midcoast Maine!

We couldnt have picked a more beautiful venue for our wedding in July of 2024. Marianmade was absolutely perfect and encompassed everything we love about MidCoast Maine, while also allowing us freedom with design and adding personality and detail to the day. John and the team at Marianmade were incredible to work with. All of our guests were amazed with the beauty of the property, from the lavender barn, waterfront ceremony site and the pristine landscaping. The cottage and gardens allowed for a beautiful space to get ready in the morning and have our portrait photos. I wish we could do it all again! John’s preferred vendor list was incredible (special shoutout to Wendy at Dragonfly Events and Ed at French Picnic) I’d recommend this venue to any bride and groom to be!

Marianmade Farm was an absolute dream for our September 2023 wedding day! We got so many compliments from guests on how stunning the venue was. The grounds were immaculately kept and so naturally beautiful with all of the incredible landscaping that John and his team have put in over the years that we didn't have to bring in as much outside decor to bring our wedding vision to life! We loved being able to stay at the stone cottage the weekend of our wedding as part of our wedding package and that we were able to host additional events like our farewell brunch and have much of the getting ready for the day of right there on site. Highly recommend Marianmade Farm for your mid-coast Maine wedding.

As a wedding photographer, I love a venue that sparks the imagination and inspires creativity. That is Marianmade Farm 100%! The attention to detail that is put into the gardens there is beyond words incredible. And not just the gardens, but the flowers and vines perfectly placed to grow in just the right spots on the various buildings. It reminded me a lot of being in the English countryside, and the old stone cottages and barn really added to that. Of course, the lavender is heavenly too. This is a venue I could never tire of working at! Pure magic, like walking into a fairy tale!

We got married at Marianmade Farm July 4th weekend in 2021 and couldn't have asked for a more magical setting. Our family stayed at the quaint cottage while the rest of us stayed in nearby Boothbay harbor, just a few minutes away. Our day-of coordinator and vendors were all very familiar with John and the property, which was made coordination of both our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony, much easier. Ultimately, everything went perfectly for both events: the grounds were meticulously maintained, the guests loved the lavender fields, the backdrop of the Sheepscot river, the outdoor tent setup for dinner and the use of the beautiful barn for partying the night away while our wedding party made good use of the cottage and bridal suite for getting ready and bustling the dress. The pictures really don't do justice, definitely visit!

Marianmade was the most perfect venue for our wedding! From the day we toured it, we knew that it was the place for us. Not only is the venue stunning, the staff and what’s included in the cost is so helpful. All of our guests kept telling us that it was one of the most beautiful venues they’ve ever been to. We were able to utilize so much of the space in different ways over the weekend, and loved staying in the beautiful house on the property. We wish we could do it all over again and were so happy with Marianmade!

Let me start by saying that all of the negative reviews that are on here are outdated and based on prior ownership.

We had the privilege of having our wedding at Marianmade Farm in late August of 2019, and I cannot say enough great things about this venue. The owner John is clear with his communications and understanding with any and all situations. Wendy, the wedding planner associated with the venue, is a godsend. Her, along with her wonderful daughter, do everything in their power to make your weekend perfect...down to the finest of details. Again, I don't how we could put our appreciation for everyone associated with Marianmade into words. They made our weekend perfect.

We held both our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony/reception on the property, and everything went off without a hitch. Along with the property, you are provided a wonderful cottage to stay in that provides privacy and makes the weekend that much more special for the newlyweds.

If you want an ideal, midcoast Maine wedding, I honestly don't know where else you would have it (trust me, I was dragged to every venue in a 100 mile radius...I know).

John, Wendy - if you read these, thank you again, for everything. We wish you nothing but continued success in the future. We hope to be back up to Marianmade soon!
