My check in process was soooo smooth thanks to Charisma, I was surprised to see the deposit was only $50 compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. Charisma made me and my husband feel so well and she was easy to have a genuine conversation with. We really enjoyed our room, it felt like a home away from home. I didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the feature of my room but it was amazing. The room was clean and smelled normal, the bathroom was my favorite because of the complementary Dove body wash, shampoo, and conditioner! The checkout process was seamless as well, Justin took great care of us and made sure our stay was everything we expected! We even got to say “see ya later” to Charisma because she was there during our check out process. If my husband and I are ever in Fort Meyers again, we’ll definitely come back to candlewood! In the meantime we located a few candlewoods near us that we can enjoy a small weekend getaway.

We had to evacuate for a hurricane. This hotel was perfect for us. Excellent office space in the room allowed us to continue working. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals as everything was closed for 2 days. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. They accommodated our pets and the staff was friendly and helpful.

There's mold in the hotel. You can smell it as soon as you walk in. They say that there's fresh fruit at breakfast but there isn't. I wouldn't stay here again. I'm a diamond IHG rewards member and stay about 80 nights a year.

The front desk staff are great. Karen and Charisma are friendly and always do their best to make sure my stay is perfect for me. The rooms are always clean, and the housekeeping staff do a great job.

Like many hotels, the beds are a little hard. The pillow is a little too soft. The appliances in every room are convenient but noisy. I have stayed here before went down for work and probably will stay here again.

Probably one of the absolute worst hotels I've ever stayed at. First of all when we checked in we were greeted by a very nice polite young lady on Sat.
We stayed 2 nights. They did not have ice machines to help yourself. No bucket in room for ice. I went down to front desk and asked for ice and a young guy put some ice in a trash bag. The air conditioning was terrible. Only 1 very small vent in bedroom. No ceiling fans. When we checked out on Monday afternoon I went to front desk which there was nobody there. I hollered HELLO. This heavy set girl came out from back I asked for ice. She asked if I had something to put it in. I said no. She said all I have is doggy poop bags. REALLY ? She had a very bad attitude. Like I was a burden to her. I'm a general manager and I personally would NEVER hire someone like her.
I will NEVER stay there again. We paid 100.00 and I have stayed at much nicer and cheaper hotels.
We stayed at Holiday Inn for 80.00 with ice machines and buckets in room and free breakfast. This place is a total waste of money.

Rooms are seriously run down. Roaches in bathroom. Fitness center in disrepair. Bathtub faucet could not be turned off, constantly running. "Guests" running work boots through the washers and dryers(idiots). Workers taking up 6 and 7 parking spots with their trucks and trailers. Curtains didnt close easily as I was on the first floor. When issues were brought up, the staff was quick to try and fix but they did a poor job. The acting GM came to my room and we discussed the issues and had a good discussion. He did what he could to make it better for me and I did not rule out going back but CAUTION first timers here: stay at your own risk.

Free parking. Great bed. Clean except for the bathroom had a bad smell/like someone smoked. We were there for a funeral arrived at 2am, went to the funeral for the day, then left the following day at 6 am...I did not let the office know about the smell and no warm water in the morning to shower until we left.
