Worst place to stay. I understand it’s like a convenient cheap hotel so expectations are at a minimum. But I experienced the worst service during a trip where I was going a funeral for a close family member. I realized after my initial night, I needed to stay one more night. On my laptop in my room is saw there were rooms available but wanted to ask the front desk to see if I could get a better rate. I was told there were no more rooms, I couldn’t get a late check out and there was nothing they could do to help me. This is after I told them I was there for a funeral. I was told someone has paid for early check in (which isn’t an option) and j had to leave the room at 11 am. I went back to my room and immediately booked one of the several vacancies for that day and called 1800 number. Then magically everything changed and they immediately had a new room available. When I went to check into another room, the same associate never acknowledged that she either made a mistake or blatantly lied to me. Due to having to move my stuff j missed the service. I believe I was treated this way because I was black.

Just off HWY 280 in Alexander City, this was a good choice for us on our recent trip to Auburn, Alabama for the football game. Good location, room was good for what we needed, although we did book it last minute and they put us up in a smokers’ room and you could definitely smell it. All in all, good place to stay for a short trip.

I used to stay here years ago when it was called the Jameson Inn, it was an excellent Motel at that time. So I thought I'd stop by and try it again now that it's Super 8. I was not disappointed, rooms were very clean, bathrooms were clean, close by to places to eat, front desk lady was absolutely amazing. service was fantastic, breakfast buffet really delicious. For a Super 8 the price was a little higher than I would have liked $90 a night, but the room was perfect. Come through here quite a bit, will definitely stop and stay here again. Highly recommended this Motel best in Alexander City

Decent place, clean room, clean sheets and clean bathroom. The free breakfast was okay. Only complaint is that people were still in the swimming pool, which was just outside our room, and they were loud and making lots of noise at 10:45pm. The pool hours showed the pool to close at 10:00 pm. I called the front desk at 10:50 pm and asked when does the pool close, they said 10:00 pm. I said there are still people in the pool and she said they were sending someone now to clear the pool, which they finally did. There were also people sitting in lawn chairs outside our room. They moved when the pool emptied. I’d stay here again but ask that the pool close when it should.

The rooms are okay. We had non-smoking but it smelled like smoke when we arrived. The housekeeping attendant knocked at 930 and opened the door and checkout ain’t til 11am? but further than that it was okay. I didn’t get to see what the breakfast bar was like cause I got in late

This is a great spot to stay for a trip to the lake, etc. Don't believe the nit-picky reviews. It's fine. Put down the magnifying glass and enjoy the value provided. |Clean room smelled fresh. Clean bathroom, etc. Clean, comfortable bed. Sheree at the front desk is very helpful. Grounds well maintained. It was too cold to try the pool, but the water was clear and the pool area clean and tidy. They have smoking rooms if that's your thing. Building 300 is total smoke free.

Bugs!!! $104 just to get bitten by bugs and have to squash roaches running around. I couldn't sleep because I kept getting bit. That ruins everything. There are pesticide companies out there.. Also too many Marijuana smokers who smoke and cough loudly all night. Terrible night at this place
