I just returned from the amazing Mayflower Heritage Tour and would like to submit a recommendation for others to consider this tour in the future. The tour exceeded my expectations not only because I was able to visit the land of my ancestors who came to the New World on the Mayflower but also because of the wonderful tour guides we had. We began our tour in the Netherlands with Marike Berkhout as our tour guide and completed our tour in England with the amazing Alex Robinson! Their knowledge of the country, it's history, people and customs are exceptional. Not only were they knowledgable with information that boggled my mind but they made it fun, relatable and so very enjoyable! Our group was made up of ages 62-83 and both Marike and Alex were considerate and thoughtful for those of us that were a bit slow at times.

My sisters and I went on a 5 day Safari with Feat Travel. Steve arranged an outstanding itinerary for us! We went to Chobe National Park in Botswana, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, visited a school in Victoria Falls, went on a dinner cruise on the Zambezi River, walked with lions, visited a local market, got massages, swam in Devils Pool in Zambia, and bungee jumped off of Victoria Falls Bridge! It was a trip of a lifetime! And we made lifelong friends!

My fiancé and I just finished an incredible 2 week trip in South Africa organized and chaperoned by FEAT Travel. I cannot say enough great things about our tour guide Steve. Travel is clearly his passion and it is transparent with his positive energy and his excitement. It proved critical to have a guide with his enthusiasm as it kept us on schedule and gave us the much needed boost we needed to get going some mornings during such a packed full trip. He was an absolute blast to be around!

Aside from having the greatest sense of humor he also has a compassionate heart. Steve went above and beyond to make my fiancés and my trip extra special on more than one occasion throughout as we were also celebrating our 5 year anniversary during this trip.

Steve has a great wealth of knowledge to share about the customs and the “in’s and outs” of traveling to and from different countries and made the experience a breeze. This, paired with what seemed to be countless relationships built from prior years of traveling to the area left us feeling confident and comfortable in what otherwise could be an intimidating endeavor. Steve seemed to have friends everywhere we went. If he didn’t, he made new ones. His outgoing and friendly nature made everyone in the group feel as if they were in the best of hands. To a great extent Steve was one of the greatest parts about the overall trip and we all throughly enjoyed his company.

For my fiancé and I, our priority was the wildlife as in most trips that we plan. We know that wildlife can never be promised but we were so very fortunate to see more than we could have hoped for. Hundreds upon hundreds of elephants- this is no exaggeration!

As most trips end up I’ve found….it’s the people that you share it with that leave the greatest impact. You come for the wildlife and leave with friends! I can’t say enough how fortunate we also were that everyone in our group gelled well together and made the overall experience even more enjoyable than we could have anticipated.

Not only did we see boat loads of wildlife but we learned so much about the culture and people of the countries that we visited. It was a very eye opening and heart-touching experience. Our trip was full of excitement, education and adventure! I personally feel we are all leaving with new friends and memories that we will cherish for a long time.

I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see South Africa and booking with FEAT Travel.

I eagerly anticipated participating on this 2024 Mayflower Historical Tour, sponsored by General Society of Mayflower Descendants, and coordinated by Featt Travel. The tour was very well planned to various sites, and the accompanying tour guides were extremely knowledgeable! The only drawback I felt was that included meals were very generously sized helpings-sometimes too much! Addendum: Marike of Holland was our tour guide while in Holland, and she was terrific. Alex, tour guide in England, was also a fountain of knowledge. Both made the tour enriching! If you desire to experience this tour for yourself, I encourage you to take advantage of this tour. You won't regret it!

I'm writing this letter to let you know how impressed I am with your company and your staff!
As you know I just returned from the 9 day Eastern Seaboard U.S. History Tour. Not only did we see the sights as scheduled but all the hotels were ready for us upon arrival, which is not always the case with a big group.

The bus was a luxury bus: very comfortable seats with phone/auxiliary component chargers. The driver was mature, proficient, courteous. He was a very safe driver resulting in a smooth, pleasant ride.

The Tour Guide, Sonya, was excellent! She seemed to know everything about all the sites we visited plus where ancillary services were nearby all locations. She had a very congenial demeanor. She was well liked by teens as well as adults.

Even when there was an unexpected emergency LATE evening, which could have been distressing, Sonya and your company took care of it immediately making it appear seamless.

I appreciated the fact that even though most of the group were teenagers, the facilities and staff were not BASIC.
