This is the WORST PORT on the east coast of Florida to take a cruise out of. If you have the option to go to Miami or Port Canaveral, take it! The police directing traffic are extremely rude (even in light traffic) and it’s so disorganized. If I knew who that police officer was screaming in the road for no reason best believe a call would be made to the sheriffs department here. Horrible. Parking fills quickly, get here early!!! One lot was already full and we arrived at 10am. Can’t imagine if you were to come at noon or later.

Update: next trip here got worse! The cruise parks in an entirely different terminal and they offer NO transportation to the parking garage - some couldn’t even provide directions. THEN the elevator was broken in the parking garage so everyone had to CARRY. THEIR. LUGGAGE. UP. THE. STAIRS. Don’t get me wrong when we notified them they said ok we’ll fix it and were nice but it was too late at that point. What if you’re handicap and can’t get up those stairs Absolutely ridiculous and disorganized.

Bright side I just got one of the most intense workouts of the last decade for me :))))

Staff was extremely rude to our uber driver both times. Staff also yelled at cruisers. Most ports offer shopping of some sort to use before or after your cruise….not this one. So if you’re trying to pass time before you board go somewhere else.

I wouldn't know how to navigate it driving on my own, but shuttle drivers and ride-share drivers seem to be able to get through it easily enough.

Remarkably easy for us to get to (used Hyatt Place port shuttle), and easy to depart from (waiting area for rides right by the terminal exit).

Worst port ever!!! Do yourself a favor and go to a normal port like Miami or Port Canaveral because in here is like Africa, disorganize dirty, no covered garage for parking confusing to enter, no signals to arrive is the worst experience ever, I felt in a 3rd world country.

It was not easy for a first timer. There were no signs and the staff there weren’t friendly.

We have left out of this port numerous times. It’s a little tricky to navigate, even with directions. There’s a lot of yelling at people who are just trying to figure things out. Each time we cruise out of here, it’s a different experience and a different way to get to ship. This time, we had to drop off our stuff and then do some wild left hand turn to get to parking area. I can’t say those who work there were very nice. They also yelled at people. I know they do this all the time, but a little more effort into customer service would go a long way. Why did I have to initiate a “hi!” and “good morning”? They looked bored and totally over it. People are cruising! They are happy! They are excited! I just wished they were a little less upright and a lot more happy. Compared with other ports, this one could use an overhaul on welcoming people.

I’ve cruised out of miami dozens of times. It is always a breeze. Today we waited over 30 minutes in line so they could check everyone in the cars ID. Miami port doesn’t check every car and it is a breeze. Will never cruise from here again. No reason for that foolishness. Bye bye to some tax money and port fees.

Will probably never come back again. The terminal sign is confusing. The road condition is awful probably due to ongoing construction. I almost turned around at the entrance, not convinced it was a cruise port. The parking garage is not properly designed, the exiting vehicles were totally blocked by incoming ones. The staff just talked to each other and did not help with the traffic.
