This is a lovely spot to bring visitors, with an interesting history to explore. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is the admission price of $25 per person, which feels a bit steep. I believe a more reasonable price would be between $12 and $18 per person. Aside from that, it's a great place for photos and a pleasant afternoon stroll."

Bonnet house is a beautiful beach house of sorts. The artist vibe of the owners has been retained and honoured with new exhibitions and installations.
Volunteers are at every turn looking to assist you as best they can and regale with tales of the bygone days.
The gardens are splendid and well mintained.
Visit if you have the chance.

A beautiful and historic residence residence that was one of the original homes built in Ft Lauderdale. The walking is doable and some rooms air conditioned. Lovely art, shells, furniture and history fill this home up aside from the beautiful 35 acres grounds. A reasonable, enjoyable experience of times past!

Beautiful house and garden!

Touring the whole thing took our group about 90 minutes.

We skipped a the video and most of the informational tours because we were on a time crunch. But it was very interesting to see

My stepmom and I visited the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens in Fort Lauderdale, and it was an unforgettable experience. We both share a deep love for art and eccentricity, and this place perfectly encapsulated everything we adore.

The estate is a stunning oasis, blending art, history, and nature seamlessly. The main house, filled with original furnishings and unique artwork, felt like stepping into a different world. Each room is a treasure trove of the Bartletts’ creative spirit and whimsical touches, making our visit feel like a delightful adventure. I really loved the Shell House.

The gardens were equally enchanting, offering a peaceful retreat where we could admire the native flora and fauna. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our experience with fascinating stories and insights into the lives of Frederic and Evelyn Bartlett.

If you love art, history, or simply enjoy exploring unique and captivating places, the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is a must-visit. My stepmom and I cherished our time there and it impacts design choices I make!
