Terrible driving in their white van. Had to slam on my breaks as they turned out in front of me on US 19 with a vehicle containing children and my pregnant wife. Will never use this business.

Connie & her staff handled my wedding this past summer & they did an AMAZING job! I would highly recommend her. They were there on time to set up. Everything looked just the way I had envisioned it & how Connie & I had talked about. She was really able to take my vision & make it reality. She had done many weddings at the location of my wedding before but many of my guests who had attended there said they had never seen the hall look so stunning as it did that night. She also did the outside for the actual ceremony, which was just as stunning. The communication with Connie was very comforting to know that on such a big day she was taking care of some of the most important details. She was always quick to return my calls or email. She had the BEST pricing around & she would be the exception on the old phrase, " You get what you pay for" with A Special Occasion you get a WHOLE LOT MORE. Her staff even helped break down things later in the evening that they didn't have to clean up so we could focus more time with our guests. She has great working relationships with many of the hall rentals, she worked VERY well with our caterer in coordinating times so that I didn't have to. She is an A+ class professional but she makes it seem like you're just an old friend that she is there to help. You won't go wrong choosing her & her team.

Connie was amazing! Our wedding was this past May and she nailed every decoration and idea I had without me doing much of anything. When we first met I told her my ideas, very basic outline of my ideas, and she turned it into something beautiful! Thank you guys for your help! I would highly recommend this company for any special event you have. If I ever have another big event, this is who I will call!

We rented our chairs for our ceremony through Connie at A Special Occasion. Connie knew that we were having an outdoor ceremony but never mentioned that the chairs we were renting had a "leather padding." When it started sprinkling outside, we were basically told that even if we wanted to have it outside we couldn't because she wouldn't risk her chairs being ruined. I think that she should disclose this information ahead of time, because I would've gladly booked a different type of chair. I was obviously upset that we weren't able to have it outside and was trying to push to just see how the weather was going to hold up since it was still about an hour and a half before the ceremony, but I ended up having it indoors because the weather didn't look like it would hold up and I was literally not given a choice from A Special Occasion, Inc. but to move it indoors. It turned out fine and the wedding was still beautiful, but the ladies who set up/take down the chairs were just kind of standing around and staring, waiting to take all of the chairs. I think it could've been handled better.
