It was really nice! Beautiful view of Sarasota Bay and lovely building. It is $15 on top of general admission to see the first floor and I did find the viewing area a bit small. I wish I could have seen the second floor then it may have been five stars. Still really beautiful though!

If you're visiting The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, definitely purchase a ticket to explore the Ca' d'Zan as well. The architecture, stained glass windows, history, and the views from the building are incredible. They have a self-guided walkthrough tour playlist that you can listen to on your phone while walking through the home. You really do get a glimpse into John and Mable’s taste and lifestyle while touring the glamorous property. It's a sight to see!

Definitely the best attraction in Sarasota if it’s your first time here! There’s so much more to see than just the Ca’ d’Zan, you also can view the Circus museums, cafe, shop, the gardens, first & second floors of the mansion (you can do a self-tour or a guided one), as well as the Glass Pavilion. If you’re feeling tired from the heat outside, cool off upstairs in the cafe just above the shop!

"The House of John" Ringling is an awesome example of architecture at the turn of the century built and decorated in a Persian theme. Decadence, even by today's standards, beautiful gardens surrounding the building with a breathtaking view of Sarasota Bay. It should be on your must see list when visiting the Sarasota area.

note I visited Ca’ d’Zan before hurricane Milton. I know they sustained major damage. I hope they can repair and restore this beautiful historic home.

The weather was perfect! 86 and the constant breeze was great. There are golf carts that can drive you to the house if you don't want to walk. The grounds are beautiful. We went on Monday when the gallery and grounds were free to see.

Amazing views indoors and outside on the bay side of the building. This historic building has been well maintained and is glamorous! The yards around Ca' d'Zan are filled with lush trees and shaded paths for walking, or you can catch a free golf cart ride from the visitor center to the residence and back. Self guided tour of first floor, or longer guided tours with additional areas to see in the house. If you love architecture, this (the largest home in Sarasota) is a must see!
