Wedding planning absolutely has to be among the chart-topping stressful events in one’s life! Choosing to work with Khadejah and her fabulous team was one of the best decisions my husband Tarek and I could have made for our wedding. I cannot believe that I was able to find someone during this vulnerable time where so many critical decisions are made daily who completely, unequivocally GETS IT and TAKES CARE OF IT. Khadejah is dependable, intuitive, impeccably oriented to detail, and, quick-thinking. She is a gem of a problem solver and every step of the way, she always read my mind. I am happy to say that her work in person is exactly the beauty and talent you see online!

We thought we had our work cut out for us because we wanted to host a traditional Bengali Gaye Holud, which in nuanced ways deviate from a traditional mehndi, since there are several unique customs we incorporate in our festivities. This in no way was a challenge for Khadejah and her team. Upon first meeting Khadejah, I learned: 1) Khadejah has a photographic memory and had already memorized everything on our itinerary and has taken care of things I did not even realize needed to be done, 2) She has a creative lens that is beyond imaginative – it is obvious that she is a seasoned planner, but, on top of that she has a keen eye for detail that is unparalleled, and most importantly, 3) She takes the time to know her clients and has proven time and again that dedicating herself to her clients is the most important aspect of her job.

With respect to detail and her attention to all things that enhance décor, the photos speak for themselves. Khadejah, per usual, went above and beyond – she designed a floor wrap that matched my holud saree. I mentioned to her ONE TIME, almost in passing, that I would love to have poster cut-outs from iconic Bollywood films….she made it happen. She met with our decorators, who I truly believe should revel in her work, and clearly had a vision that resonated exactly with mine. Khadejah is remarkable when working under pressure – our venue notified us on the week of our wedding that we would be able to host our at the penthouse, Khadejah within 48 hours of time converted our décor vision to match the layout of the penthouse. When Tarek and I walked into the venue, we could not believe we were walking into our Gaye Holud. It was the absolute PERFECT combination of traditional desi with highly prounounded Bengali specific detail. Our friends and family who flew in from Dhaka could not believe how meticulously planned and well thought out every item of décor was.

Khadejah’s team members are nothing short of fantastic. Anyone who has been to an actual traditional Bengali gaye holud knows how messy it can be – Kulsum is a gem of a human, who made sure at every turn I was comfortable. She exceptionally coordinated our Nikkah and Reception the next day because she also, just gets it. Shepharding hundreds of guests to the correct places at correct times, was hardly a challenge for her. She is warm, fun, energetic, a blast to hang out with. All of the positivity you need and want on your wedding day.

“Details matter to me because I want to make you proud.” These were Khadejah’s exact words to me. To provide further context, I spent the entire week leading up to our wedding relaxing, taking care of my physical and mental health, checking in on my loved ones and friends who were flying in from out of town, and, sending messages of gratitude to Khadejah that read along the lines of “how are you this amazing”. I walked into our wedding with confidence and stress-free!

I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for picking US! You could have spent months of your life staying busy with so many other things, but you chose to get to know me. You allowed me to experience every emotion through this grueling process without judgment and only with compassion and understanding. This was the best party our guests (and myself!) have been to. I cannot believe this magnificence was OUR WEDDING. THANK YOU!!!

This review is longgg overdue but it’s also really hard for me to put together words for how amazing Khadejah is. I met khadejah back in 2019!! I had meetings with multiple wedding planners and was so indecisive of who I wanted. I don’t remember how I stumbled on Khadejah’s instagram but I am so glad I did. I knew from our first meeting that I wanted to hire her as my wedding planner. I realized that a lot of the other wedding planners I was looking into were a lot older and our thinking did not match up or it felt like I was working with someone I had to call “Aunty” and I totally didn’t like that. Talking to Khadejah was like I was talking to a friend about my dream wedding. She understood my visions and everything I anticipated to incorporate for my wedding day and gave me great input that matched my taste. So I hired her for my December 2020 wedding. We hit a lottttt of obstacles during my wedding planning process because of COVID. First we had to make a decision on whether or not we should even have the wedding with the limitations that were placed. After we decided to go for it, 3 days before my wedding day my in-laws caught COVID and we had to cancel all of our plans. I called Khadejah the moment the news came and she handled everything so I wouldn’t have to worry. She was so easy to work with during those times and super understanding as well. Not only was she a wedding planner to me, she became someone I was 100% comfortable going to with any wedding stress. I remember the amount of times I called her crying or panicking and she was always there (even knocking sense into my husband if he was being difficult lol). My plans were on hold from the time we cancelled but she would always check in to see how everything was going. I finally decided to reschedule for May 20, 2022 and she promised me that she would make sure my wedding events are perfect and everything I imagined it to be and I had no doubts in her at all. I also was lucky to meet Kulsum and there couldn’t be a better duo than them. As we all know, Asian weddings are complicated from the amount of days, to the difficult guests, to the little details us brides want perfected. But khadejah really pulled through for me and she tolerated my micromanaging too lol. One thing I learned was that no matter how beautiful the Venue is, management is not always so great. My wedding ceremony was at The Glen Cove Mansion and we knew from the meetings we had with banquet managers that not everyone was on the same page or things seemed a little off.. but again I loved the venue and Khadejah reassured me that she would make sure everything works out. Day of the ceremony we definitely hit many bumps with the venue but Khadejah and Kulsum handled it all without me having to worry day of and I was able to focus on myself. If they weren’t there, I can’t imagine the chaos I would have had to dealt with. I will also say that working with my family isn’t easy lol. Yet she was always incredibly tolerable, easy to work with, and she always maintained a professional, friendly, and calming composure. Everyone had so many opinions and comments and whatnot but what mattered was that Khadejah and I were ALWAYS on the same page. Without her and Kulsum I would have lost my sanity and I probably would not have enjoyed my wedding. It really was an incredible and long journey and I will always be super grateful for Khadejah ❤️

Last month Khadejah hired me and my magician husband to entertain at a 400 plus attendee wedding. As a vendor, I was so impressed by her event planning!! Everything ran so so smoothly. She had all attendees in their place, whether it was outdoors during the cocktail hour, or gently getting them into the venue when it was time for dinner. She and all her vendors were organized, professional and friendly. When it was time to get paid, she had an assistant promptly pay us. As entertainers, we've been to many events. This was one of the best planned events we've ever seen.

There are not enough words to describe how unbelievably amazing Khadejah is. She went above and beyond all of our expectations to create a dream wedding for my daughter. Khadejah was the event planner for my sister’s wedding and I could not recommend her enough! She kept everything in order, was very organized, and kept everything running as smooth as possible. A wedding day can get hectic for the ones closely involved, but Khadejah kept everything organized and running smoothly, I could not recommend Khadejah enough for your next event. A 5 star rating isn’t even enough to describe the job that Khadejah did, she deserves 100 stars. Highly highly recommend her for any future events you are planning!

I saw Khadejah in action at a friend’s wedding last week. She was amazing on both days! She had a timeline and order of events planned out ahead of time. In addition, she was very good at being flexible as adjustments had to be made and made sure all the vendors were in line with the updates throughout the evening. I think the best part of her being there is her knowledge of cultural and ritual differences, if they arise, amongst brides and grooms. She knows how to mediate the issues and resolve them in a fashion that appeases both, the groom and the bride and their families. She made it very obvious that she did not want any one of their families to leave upset or not accommodated. I think that is the most important outcome of any wedding and she was spectacular at that. Definitely recommend her to anyone interested in a wedding planner.
