Amazing experience we are a group of 6 booked the experience with glacier landing.

I have to tell you one thing their technology is super cool you can see the live feeding up on the mountain take sure if you are going to land on the glacier or not. Again my tip would be if the weather is not good a highly recommend rescheduling your tour if you have a room for another day and good part is they do it for free. The reason why is the weather can change drastically so even sometimes after flying into the mountains the pilot can call off landing on glacier because of change of Weather so make sure it is sunny day.

Very good staff with good knowledge about the weather update. I highly recommend this company if you are planing for Glacier landing ?.

Amazing experience! We had originally booked the Summit tour with Glacier landing but when we arrived the weather had some other plans. The office handled the situation wonderfully and gave us the option to “take the flight that Mother Nature is giving us” or we could get a full refund. If we took the flight, the pilot would report back and depending on the flight we got, they would refund the difference from what we had booked back to us. Wonderfully handled & appreciated their honesty!

All that to say, worth it.
We didn’t get to see Denali but we did get a Glacier landing and even getting up into the “foothills” and mountains is spectacular and something that is so unique and beautiful.
Definitely recommend. The pilot was also great and did a fantastic job proving a great experience in the air and at the glacier (pilot & photographer lol)

The Talkeetna Air Tour around Denali was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life. Opting for the glacier landing was absolutely the right choice—it was truly unforgettable! The Talkeetna Air Taxi team went above and beyond to make this adventure exceptional. Even when weather conditions forced the cancellation of my initial tour, they were incredibly accommodating, rebooking me for the next available time on the same day. We had a tremendous time! Our pilot was incredibly knowledgeable about the region we were flying over. It was fascinating to hear all about the various peaks and glaciers, as well as the different expeditions that had been attempted. We very much enjoyed landing on a glacier to view Denali. The clouds cooperated just enough! I highly recommend this company and this tour! This is the way to see the mountain and park!!

Incredible experience! There’s nothing else that can compare to seeing this landscape from the air. Truly awe inspiring. If you only do one thing when you visit Alaska- do this!!

Everyone gets a window seat, which I think is great, and our pilot Daniel explained a lot of interesting things about the geography, climbing history, and what we were seeing. He also did turns specifically to make sure that both sides of the plane had good views of things. All seats are good views! He also offered to take pictures for people once we landed at base camp. Everyone has a headset so it’s easy to hear why the pilot is saying, and the cabin is heated (though it can still be chilly).

The flights and views are weather dependent, but the staff does its best to keep people informed of the weather conditions and their top priority is to keep everyone safe (Of course, they can’t control the weather and sometimes have to cancel flights, but safety is #1). The weather can be tricky but the pilots and rest of the team are experienced. We had some clouds in the area and the pilot explained some of how he was deciding where to fly and why based on that.

There is a souvenir shop with sweatshirts and hats and stickers, and fantastic new restrooms with a water bottle station. Probably the best bathrooms in town!

Absolutely the best bucket list thing we have done while living in Alaska, and we’ve done a lot of things in our three years here! The other folks on the plane with us were all tourists, but even us locals had a great time.

Talkeetna Air Taxi put on an amazing flight tour. Our pilot was super knowledgeable and narrated the entire flight with tons of facts. We were told when we first arrived that the weather may not allow us to see Denali’s summit, but he looped around until the clouds parted and we got some AMAZING views.

I’m not kidding when I say it was worth every penny. It’s pricey, sure. But so so worth it. I will recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. I was mind blown for the entire 90 minute flight. Thank you Talkeetna Air Taxi!

Once of a life time experience. Landing on glacier is unbelievable. Worth every penny. The day I visit is a nice day after 4-5 rainy days. Very lucky. Our pilot is very professional and friendly. Highly recommend. There is another company near Denali national park but does not offer landing on the glacier.

Had a great experience here. We were to fly and land on a glacier near Denali but due to weather were offered a flight around and over Denali. Very professional pilot. Took off on instruments in the clouds but had clearer weather near Denali. Fanatic views of the numerous glaciers and of Denali. Would fly with them again.
