Riviera Waterfront Mansion is a beautiful location for a wedding. We absolutely love shooting here. The outdoors have breathtaking views of the water; combined with cozy cottage decor and beautiful gardens, you get transported to a whole different world. There are so many locations that provide perfect backdrops for photos. The indoor space is equally as stunning. The tall windows open up to the gorgeous view of the water, and the rooms are wonderfully decorated. Receptions shots turn out amazing, each photo being a magical moment. My husband and I got married at The Riviera Mansion in September 2024, just three weeks ago. This venue was everything I could have imagined and more. The staff is truly unmatched. They are SO kind and helpful and want you to have the most incredible and memorable day possible. They were so attentive to my husband and I as well as our guests and family the entire day. They pay such close attention to detail and it does not go unnoticed. There was no stress attached to our day and it’s because of their amazing staff. All of my decor was set up before I even got it the venue and it was exactly how I pictured it looking. Our guests are still raving about the food, especially the cocktail hour and desserts! They also work so well with your vendors making sure they are taken care of and happy. The entire planning process with them was also so easy and any ideas I had they truly helped me bring it all to life (THANK YOU CHELSEA!) I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. Thank you to everyone at The Riviera for making our day so incredible!

We've photographed many weddings at The Riviera Massapequa, and it's always a delight! The waterfront setting offers endless photo opportunities, from the romantic gazebo to the lush gardens. Hosting one event at a time ensures an intimate and distraction-free experience, allowing us to capture stunning moments effortlessly. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Fantastic venue. My wife and I just recently had our wedding reception there and they were nothing but exceptional. The service was excellent and the food was super delicious, better than most venues. Our bridal attendant and maitre ď were available for us at every moment. This venue is perfect for people who want their own wedding, meaning that there is no other party going on. It’s all about you. That’s what we wanted and that’s what we got. We highly recommend this venue!

We booked our wedding Aug 2019 for 6/12/21. When COVID hit, it was a major concern of what would happen. The Riviera team answered all our questions, were very responsive & easy to work with. We had decided to cut our guess list & when all restrictions got lifted, The Riviera still honored our guest list.

Samantha is absolutely amazing. Such a sweet, patient, professional but friendly personality. She made things so easy & was so pleasant & accommodating. When I dropped off my decorations, I didn’t even instruct them on what to do with them. I let them do their thing & trusted them with their expertise…they did not disappoint!

The day of was just a dream come true! The staff was absolutely amazing. Maria & Tara were always available, made sure everyone was taken care of & overall provided great service & attention to all! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Delicious food & drinks, beautiful views, stunning venue & great ambiance. Our day was truly MAGICAL!

My husband and I recently got married at the Riviera Waterfront Mansion, and it was truly the best day of our lives. Working with the Riviera was effortless, and to say they outdid themselves on our wedding day would be an understatement.

From our first meeting with them to the big day, we always felt seen, valued, and heard. Every single member of their banquet office team took the time to learn about us as a couple. Communication is key, and they always took the time to communicate openly and honestly with us. Each time we entered the doors of the Riviera, we were greeted by a big smile and hug! Knowing that your wedding is being run by down-to-earth professionals who are amazing at their job is a huge relief, and it made our wedding that much better. They truly took so much stress off of our plates, not only on the wedding day, but the weeks and months leading up to it. The Riviera was quick to answer all of our emails, and went above and beyond what most venues will do. They did not dismiss our ideas, but welcomed them with open minds. They also provided advice and brainstormed with us about our decor set up and floor plan. It was clear that they viewed us as people, not just "another wedding". That is exactly what you want in a wedding venue.

The Riviera was attentive, professional, and prompt during the entire planning process. This venue truly runs like a well oiled machine! When we walked into the Riviera on our wedding day, it felt like we were guests ourselves. Everything was perfect upon arrival and ready for the evening. It was better than I could've imagined. The team greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the grounds. They wanted to make sure that WE were 100% happy and that everything turned out the way we wanted. Our bridal assistant was by our side all day checking in with us and making sure we had what we needed. It is important to note that every single time we saw her, she had a huge smile on her face. She genuinely wanted to make sure that it was the best night of our lives, and that we knew if we needed anything, she would do it for us! Before I could even think to ask for it, she was right behind me with a fresh aperol spritz! I truly couldn't have asked for a better bridal attendant. She bustled my gown within minutes, carefully packaged my veil, and did everything she could to make sure my husband and I were happy.

It's important to note that every single member of the Riviera team was incredible. The banquet team, managers, bartenders, and waiters were all so kind, professional, and personable. I couldn't believe how much my guests loved their waiters. They all knew their waiter by name, and created a relationship with them over the course of the night. I remember looking over during the wedding and seeing our guests and the staff laughing with one another and engaging in conversation. All of our guests told us that they had a wonderful experience with their waiters. Not only that, but the food was delicious. Guests loved their meals and the cocktail hour. There were so many delicious options to choose from, and they all knocked them out of the park. Their bartenders were also such wonderful people. I could not believe how quickly they were making drinks. There was NEVER a line at the bar, and we had 178 guests. My bridesmaid even told me that each time she walked up to the bar, all the bartender had to do was look at her and he immediately made her a refill! They also always had smiles on their faces. Their positive attitude, humor, and professionalism made our guests have a wonderful experience.

I could go on and on sharing about our experience with the Riviera, but to put it simply, it was the best night of our lives. We will forever be grateful to the ENTIRE Riviera team for everything they did for us on our wedding day. The grounds were spotless and beautiful, the service was remarkable, and the food was delicious. There is not a single regret we have working with the Riviera.

We got married on 7/16/2021 after originally booking for 7/11/2020 and we are so happy with the level of service that we received from the Riviera. We felt so taken care of from the second we walked through the door, as did our family and friends. We didn’t worry about a single thing the entire night - our decorations were laid out beautifully, the food was amazing, and there wasn’t a second that we didn’t have a drink in our hands thanks to our attendants. It has been my dream to get married at The Riviera since I was 9 years old and I just had my dreams come true! I was a flower girl in my uncle’s wedding at The Riviera in 2000 and I’ve had my heart set on it ever since that beautiful June day. The venue is as gorgeous today as it was then, the food is delicious, the Viennese hour can’t be beat, I absolutely love the gazebo overlooking the water, their preferred vendors are excellent, and the staff treats your wedding day as though it is just as personally important to them.

We worked mostly with Tara throughout the planning process and we all loved her so much. She is so down to earth, personable, accommodating, and helpful. We joked several times that she’s part of the family now. She really worked with us to make it a day we could afford without skimping on any details. We often brought both sets of parents with us to our meetings because we wanted them to be part of the excitement with us, and she treated everyone so wonderfully, involving them in the discussion and taking questions, thoughts, and opinions.

As we got closer to the wedding we worked more with Irene (because Tara deserves a few days off!). She was so joyful and excited to walk me through the processes, and when I came to bring my decorations and extra items a few days in advance, she let me set up things exactly how I wanted them and then took a picture so she could recreate exactly what I envisioned. Irene was so warm and friendly and she made me feel like she cared about our wedding just as much as we did.

Our maître d was Megan and she is just so cool and nice. She really knows how to command the attention of a group of people to make things efficient but also still fun! I immediately trusted that Megan had everything under control, and she absolutely did. When we had our rehearsal dinner, there was a downpour across pretty much the entire island except at The Riviera (full sunshine!) and most of our bridal party was late. Megan never made us feel rushed when it came time to start and she filled the waiting time by asking questions about our vision for the day and taking notes. When everyone got there, she was able to efficiently take us through a rehearsal twice outside and once inside. On the day of our wedding she made everything run smoothly. I so enjoyed working with her!

My bridal attendant was Christina and – true to her title – she was SO attentive. She was kind and friendly and made sure my every need was met. She bustled my dress three times because I kept picking up and shaking it while I danced, she always made sure I had a glass of water (apparently weddings make me thirsty) and always asked if I wanted my favorite alcoholic drink too (prosecco). She and Megan also made sure my husband (!!) and I had a few minutes alone together during cocktail hour so we could eat and decompress from the ceremony. We really appreciated that! She and Megan also sent us home with LOTS of leftover food and goodies. I will be eating cake and cookies for days to come!

Another thing that I really loved about The Riviera is that there are SO MANY PLACES for event guests to go. The main ballroom is large and spacious (not to mention with a gorgeous view) but there are also lots of tables and chairs outside if guests want to get some fresh air, and the cocktail room by the bar is another great option if guests want to get some quieter time away from the music. I loved that this venue would cater to every type of guest.

I cannot recommend The Riviera more highly. They were so wonderful to work with through every single step of the process and they made all my wedding dreams come true. If you’re wondering “is it worth it?” the answer is YES.
