We took the helicopter tour landing on a glacier on 9/1. The weather wasn’t great, but they assured us that the ride would be great! Far from great- the windows were so fogged up, we couldn’t see a thing. We had 2 seats of the 4 in the back, only the 2 guests sitting in the front with the pilot had a clear window to see out of. As quick as we wiped the window it fogged back up.
The glacier stop was pouring rain, you stop on a glacier, but it’s on rocks and not ice. You can walk up to the ice- nothing like the pictures they show.
The pilot said maybe 2 sentences to us during the entire tour- provided no information, when we asked a question, a guest answered the question- not the pilot!
We shared our dissatisfaction with the manager. He said, we only cancel when the fog doesn’t allow the helicopter to go up and they will continue to run this way - have a nice day and walked away! After paying $1,200 for 2 people, you would think they would care if their customers were extremely disappointed in their experience. They can care less. Don’t give this company your business.

After a few aborted attempts as we traversed the state due to weather, we finally made it into the air at Denali!
Sawyer was an outstanding pilot taking on a bucket list flight to Yanert glacier. Lots of up close and personal looks at the features and set down on the ice. I wanted to turn around an do it again.
I hope that you have as much fun a I did.

Took my dad on the helicopter hike on the tundra. Very exciting and the pilot, guide and crew top notch in my book.
