Captain John was one of the best captains I have ever met. He was incredibly helpful and gave everyone tips to become better fishermen. Although the fishing started slowly, he found ways to help us catch fish. Toward the end of the day, when the bites increased, he brought us to a place where there were a lot of snappers, which we were able to keep to eat for dinner. Overall, it was a 5-star experience and I would definitely book again.

Captain John of @fiveoclockcharlietoursknows the bay like the back of his hand. Once the bite slows, we move to a different spot. As soon as you drop your line, the bite is back on. I've been fishing with him many times and is the only captain in the area I will use.

Captain John was awesome! He's highly experienced, very personable and does his best to make sure you enjoy your outing. He's very knowledgeable about the wildlife the history of the area as well. We all had a great time.

He'll pickup and drop-off at the Kingfish boat ramp on Anna Maria as well, so don't get discouraged by the drive time shown on the map.

Our boat tour with Captain John was amazing! We came in town to visit some family this week, and a great time was had by all. We saw many beautiful sights and marine life, snorkeled, collected shells and enjoyed the salty breeze whipping through our hair. The weather was iffy, and Captain John skillfully navigated us away from where the storms were headed. He is kind, knowledgeable, skillful, and very safety aware.
