Highly recommend this outfit!! My 10 yr old son attempted to get certified but ended having an ear issue during his open water segment and couldn't go down. Their awesome staff handled everything professionally leaving him excited to return. We will definitely return to finish his certification, when he is not congested, and I get to enjoy all the great, affordable, dive packages! They have the most affordable certification and diving deals out of any place I could find in the Keys! My daughter and I were taken to a variety of different dive sights, saw stingrays, sharks, eels, lobster, and an assortment of fish and coral. Crew and shop staff were awesome to dive and work with

Best dive shop in the keys! Everything you’re looking for in a dive shop.

Scheduling: Great communication, easy online booking and waivers.

Dive shop: Nice clean shop, good prices, all the necessities with a fun, helpful and professional staff.

Dive charters: Clean, safe and organized dive boats, top notch rental equipment, accommodating guides, huge assortment of dive spots.

Training: reasonably priced, thorough and efficient. If you’re going to train, it may as well be in a beautiful location.

IDC is my preferred dive shop in the keys.

What a great experience we had with Islamorada Dive Centre, from a seamless booking experience (big shoutout to Keira) to amazing dives, with everything to wish for in between (knowledgeable and fun dive team, brilliant captain, super comfortable boat, tanks filled to the brim). The dive sites they select each day have diversity, even when diving 5 days in a row. We have felt safe every step of the way and genuinely looked after.
The team have set the bar quite high for other dive outfits.
We are definitely coming back!

One of the greatest and smoothest dive experiences we have had. We had Angela as our guide and she was very knowledgeable both in and out of the water. Would flip through her photo books and point out different things along the dive. In addition, the whole team worked well at communicating and accommodating any needs we had. We traveled with a 13 year old boy- and they were equipped to handle all of his jr. certs. Dive shop was also AMAZING! Helped us get connected with dive watches and took the time to teach us. EXCELLENT company and would highly recommend!

Received my advance open water at Islamorada Dive center. All crew were a blast to be around. Would recommend anyone in the area of the Keys to use them for your dive experience. Tell the staff to go to nurse shark city in the afternoons, will be surrounded by plenty of nurse sharks, and even saw sea turtles and moray eels. 5/5 stars for them

We had trips with the shop today. Eagle wreck and Islamorada Fingers in the morning. Angeline was a great guide who showed us eels, groupers and pistol shrimp
Nate was a great deck hand.

Nurse shark reef and Davis Reef in the afternoon. Angeline and Nate switched place and both did excellent jobs. Obviously saw lots of nurse sharks and huge schools of fish - like swimming in an aquarium.

Looking forward to the next 2 days of diving.

Update 9/15

Dove at Cricket Reef 2 times on Friday morning. It was great as well with Jessie as our guide.

2 trips on Saturday as well. Morning spent at Victory Reef and Kylies Run. Erin guided us. Ben was our guide at Nurse Shark city and David reef in the afternoon. Jessie was boat captain and kind enough to honor our request to go back to the same sites we enjoyed on Thursday afternoon. Nurse sharks and eels galore!

Also, a special shout out to the Mayor of Scubatown, Kiera. She does a great job on the phone and running the office. I highly recommend IDC. They are a well run top notch dive shop.

I dove with Islamorada Dive Center in March, 2024. We did four dives total with this outfit. I was impressed with the operation, very organized and made it all so easy. They were professional throughout. The boat is very nice, clean, organized, and well run. We went to four different dive spots, which were beautiful. This is a concierge type outfit, that helps you wherever they can, including if you desire, to setup your equipment or exchange tanks in between dives.

Our guide in the water was Angeline, and she was amazing. She was knowledgeable on the sea-life, the sites, and safety. I was diving with my two daughters that are less experienced, and she was really great with them, helping them learn and grow, and have a great time. As a bonus she took photos of us diving and emailed to us after the fact. If you dive with this shop, and get Angeline as your guide, you are going to have a great time. The other employees seemed great too as an aside.

I would dive again with this outfit, they did a really nice job, and we had a great time. We will be back.

Took the Hunter’s course to learn Spearfishing. This included a short video to watch prior to arrival, followed by short demonstration on the boat, then a few practice shots at the sea floor of about 45-50’. Sonja was fantastic, as our instructor. She had a couple others joining for a guided spearfish tour, so it was a mix of my son and I, and another couple. My son had a chance to shoot (missed…lol) at a yellowtail, but Sonja cleaned house and brought home a couple, and kind enough to provide us with a couple filets! Check in was great, expect paperwork, so arrive early. Boat was run by an all female staff, and they rocked! I would absolutely dive with this company again. No issues.
