Great company to go out snorkeling or scuba diving with. Looe Key Reef is amazing! You feel like you're in a fish aquarium. A lot of beautiful colorful fish.

Captain Hooks is now running Strike Zone Charters, but the level of service and the attention to detail that everyone has become accustomed to has not changed. I would highly recommend that you visit Strike Zone for all of your dive needs, as well as for boat trips to Looe Key Reserve and other dive and snorkeling excursion destinations.

I went out with Hooks on Thursday. It was the best experience I have had at any of the dive charters. The post by Crystal Nova couldn't be farther from the truth. All of their equipment is in new condition and very well maintained. Their boats are some of the best I have seen. All of the employees are the friendliest I have met and they have many items for sale in the shop. Many dive charters here have small retail offerings. I am a new resident here in the Keys and have been looking for a shop to use as my regular place for service, diving trips etc. I have tried many places since arriving and i feel this will be my home diving shop. They also are participating in a big way to help protect and recover our reef.

Wow, we were so impressed with the whole.experience. We were so fortunate with the weather. Went to two divergent spots on Looe Key to go snorkeling and saw so many incredible fish in the reef. Did not realize that this is the #1 rated diving spot in all of USA. Must see for the whole family. They will rent everything you need for this magical and amazing trip. Great boat with knowledgeable staff.
Take an underwater camera to capture some amazing fish.

Our experience was outstanding. I would go again and again. We had such a wonderful time and the office staff and crew were so helpful. There is plenty of time to snorkel and you will not feel rushed. The entire operation is top notch. I have traveled all around the world and I truly appreciate how organized and professional and fun this tour was.
My family owns our own vessel in Miami and I still would go on Strike Zone Charters. Think about it, you don't have to trailer your boat all the way to the keys. They pay for the fuel and there isn't any cleanup. Beautiful reef. Just have fun, bring a good attitude and enjoy. Make sure to purchase a "water tight" case for your phone from their shop. You won't believe the great pictures you will have. What a great price for a half day on the water.

Went on a snorkeling trip with my daughter visiting us while we wintered on Big Pine. I am an experienced snorkeler and SCUBA diver - been diving for over 50 years all over the world. The check-in ladies are not very friendly or welcoming. The boat crew is quite competent and they run a tight ship. It is a safe operation. However, this is a very regimented cattle boat type operation that handles large numbers of divers and snorkelers on the same boat. Not at all a laid back nor particularly friendly crew. Good at giving orders though. Had better experience with other dive/snorkel operations on Big Pine and nearby keys. They all go to Looe Key so the diving and snorkeling is the same.

We really love this store and always receive great service both in the store and on the Looe Key snorkeling trips.

They pretty much have everything you need for snorkeling, they have some great clothes, and the new owners are really nice. Have a very large selection of masks good gear by Cressi and others.

Fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling experience. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The sites were beautiful. We saw nurse sharks, goliath grouper, rays, jellies, parrot fish, and many others. I can't wait to go back.
