Just returned from a wonderful 10-day tour of the Balkans with Mejdi Tours. This was a very special trip with two outstanding guides, Marko and Ziyah, and a stimulating group of travelers. Other tour companies can bring you to the major attractions, but Mejdi stands out for the local folks, witnesses and story-tellers, they bring to the mix. We met photo-journalists, war refugees and survivors of the Siege of Sarajevo, gallery owners — all with moving personal stories to share. We could not have made these contacts on our own. A perfect mix of learning, great conversation, and fun. I recommend Mejdi without reservation.

Mejdi is a great tour company. I have taken a 1/2 day tour of Jerusalem several years ago and recently an extended trip to southern Spain. The dual narrative concept is amazing and educational. I highly recommend anything Mejdi offers!

This was a wonderful experience learning, first hand, about a country that is moving beyond it's recent past, being exposed to specific socioeconomic issues related to marginalised populations where progress toward peace is being made, slowly but steadily. The cards seem so stacked against making socioeconomic impacts , however, that what we observed was very encouraging. All the logistics and accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed. The organisers and guides were outstanding. We were exposed to marginalised segments of Colombian society that are on few tourists' schedules, yet exposure to which is crucial to understand the direction in which the country is moving. The leader and guides were honest in their presentation of the issues, the potential solutions, and circumspect in their assessment of the progress being made. Their flexibility, given the different points of view and needs of the group was appreciated. They made the trip fun, as well as informative.

Excellent tour. I love how they have two guides - one Jewish Israeli, and one Palestinian Arab who each spoke about various issues from their own experiences. It was talking with locals, helping us get into the depths of the various issues. One can see Jerusalem by looking at the key sights listed in a guide book. Or one can see the key sights in the context of life in Israel today, looking at an issue from multiple points of view. If you want the latter, look no further than MEJDI tours.

I had a wonderful and powerful educational experience spending ten days on a Mejdi Tour in Israel and the West Bank in the fall of 2022. We participated in a MEJDI "dual narrative" tour of Israel and the occupied territories. We were accompanied by two guides, an Israeli Jew and Palestinian Muslim, who were extremely knowledgeable and respectful of each other's differing perspectives. We heard from a variety of excellent speakers at sites around the country who were able to provide both high-level overviews of the conflict as well as intimate, personal accounts of how it has shaped their lives. The accommodations, logistics, and food, were all first-rate. As someone who follows the region fairly closely through conventional news outlets, it was gratifying to deepen and widen my knowledge in a relatively short time, thanks to the extraordinary preparation of the MEJDI folks.

Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of the tour.
There were 4 of us traveling together.
When our luggage was lost during air travel Medji was there to help where needed. Our guides were well versed in history, easy to understand as well as open to questions.
We have never traveled in a tour setting. Medji gave us the awareness of the advantages of a tour and how we could incorporate a tour in future travel.
