I recently stayed here for the weekend, Friday - Sunday and had a great experience. The hotel is new, I think I was told, only 20 weeks old and I was there on 2/21 - 2/23. The nice man at the front desk, Kassar, helped me get into the fitness room and gave me an extra towel, he's a good guy!

The one think I would improve on is to install Black Out curtains in the rooms. My room only had vertical blinds and my room faced the Veterans Expressway which is the direction of the sun. So, early in the morning, the light comes through the blinds.... hint hint Management, install some blackout curtains. Other than that, the hotel is super clean and in a great location close to plenty of stores and restaurants.

Great staff and a new hotel! The service was good and location by the airport was fantastic. The only knocks were a broken thermostat screen and the TV didn't work. There was also a roach in the room but it's Flordia and there's a lot of construction nearby so more than likely a fluke. Great place to lay your head for a few nights and the large rooms for the price was very welcome.

Stayed at HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof on Sitka Street from Feb 18 to Feb 26, 2025 (booked through Delta Airlines), and it was disgusting. Brand-new building, some decent reviews—thought it’d be a safe bet. Nope. Room was trashed from day one: women’s hair on the floor, dust bunnies by the table, sticky gunk all over (see pics to prove it). Asked for a re-clean or room swap, but they were “booked solid” and blew me off.

We begged for daily cleaning—got one the whole stay. They made the bed (didn’t change the sheets), smeared crap around with a dirty mop, and called it done. Towels? Hair embedded in them, multiple times. This place is a new hotel tanking fast—cleanliness is a total bust. Checked out this morning and couldn’t run away quick enough. Save your cash and stay somewhere that’s not a health hazard.

I did have a tough check in, however, the front desk agent Ashley and the manager Faith were extremely professional, helpful, thorough, and understanding. We all just work here and can’t predict road blocks but the way they handled my specific situation was unmatched customer service wise. I 100% would give them repeat business. These ladies I dealt with definitely understand what hospitality means.

M husband went to the front desk to request ask what time was checkout. After waiting 10 minutes and no one ever came to the desk, he read the following sign posted at the front desk.

We apologize for any inconvenience there will be no extensions and no later check outs then
12pm as we are fully booked tonight and need to turn over.

Therefore, we planned to checkout at noon. When housekeeping came to the door, I told them we weren’t ready yet. Next, around 11:15 a.m., the front desk manager, knocked on the door and requested that I open the door. I told her I wasn’t dressed. She said we needed to checkout, because we should have checked out at 11 a.m. I told her my husband checked at the front desk and it was 12 p.m. She said if I wasn’t out of the room in 10 minutes, she was going to call the police.

We will NEVER stay at a Redroof again. We have never been treated this way at any other hotel.

I Rahkeeim enjoyed my stay here. Rooms brand new and very clean to the max at least with my room I was in room #108 and it was a cozy room. Sonny, the manager, took good care of my needs and kept his word with me. Ive hope I gain his trust and definitely looking forward to coming back soon this time even longer. I also had no issue in receiving my $100 deposit back i checked in on a wensday check out Saturday morning around 11am and I received my deposit back on Monday not bad depending on your bank. Nice spot I loved it

Decent place but will they will steal your deposit. Charged $100 deposit for one night and I was told they would return it to my card at check out. Didn't get it and was told their bank couldn't credit it to my account. Talked to the manager Faith Walker as was told they would mail it to me. It has been 6 weeks and still nothing. For the last 3 weeks she has never returned one of my calls. Crooks. Buyer beware.

Employees are amazing. The rooms are very nice brand new. Very up-to-date. We stayed here for about a month, and the staff was amazing. Help me in every way they could, and I never had a better experience at a hotel.
