A hidden gem! A little over 3 miles of great trails, once you find the trailhead. Beautiful wildlife and sights! Even a suspension bridge! Interesting local history lesson and artifacts in the visitor center! Definitely worth the $3 entry fee. Easy to access restrooms inside the visitor center.

Nice easy walk-in paths with a suspension bridge. We also saw both large and baby gators. The water had an interesting orange tint to it.

Great riverside park. Nice and easy hiking trails, canoe launch, pavilions you can rent, picnic tables, playground, and grills. No developed campground, but there is hike in primitive camping. Nice visitor’s center with a historical exhibit on the Seminole War. Didn’t get to explore everything, but what we saw we liked. We will be back.

We had a lovely time today. There are at least 4 miles of well-maintained trails. The visitor center was open and available for a self-guided tour. Both restrooms and water fountains are available. The entry fee is $3 and cash only, and there is plenty of parking. The park ranger provided us with maps, so we had no problem finding the historic fort site. We didn't see much wildlife apart from an armadillo, birds, and squirrels. However, the trails were very quiet and peaceful, and the wildflowers were lovely.

I would not recommend these trails for people with wheel chairs or strollers.

In the land of bone valley mining, this is a hidden gem. Saw a peace river monster gator, gorgeous white sand berms and river bottoms, thousands of years of history in the river banks. Worth an hour of your time.

What a beautiful little gem! Nice trails, many picnic areas, clean restrooms, and all for only $3. And we got a 2025 awsome calendar.

It's very pretty but not really functional for the sportsman. The kayak launch has a tree right in the middle of it, and water barely goes over the tree. Since this is a narrow point of the river the current is faster here. Trying to step over the tree and keep your footing and getting the kayak out in water and getting in it is tricky. Not very long trails either.
